Donald Trump Viciously Attacked – By Members of Media
Donald Trump’s War with Mainstream Media, Going To Far?
This weekend has not been kind to Donald Trump as far as the media is concerned.
New York Daily News: “As American citizen drink from streams and stand in lines for ice, gas and food, President Trump says ‘they want everything to be done for them.’ Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Response? ‘You’re going straight to hell.’”
CNN: “Trump sent 18 tweets on Puerto Rico on Saturday. And Made things a whole lot worse.”
The Associated Press: “Trump dismisses ingrates who’ve questioned his administration’s commitment to rebuilding Puerto Rico”
The Hill: “Trump dedicates golf trophy to hurricane victims as millions struggle in Puerto Rico.”
USA: Trump slams fake news and politically motivated ingrates for criticizing Puerto Rico aid efforts.”
CNN: Trump’s whiplash weekend heightens questions over leadership.”
The Washington Post: “Trump attacks mayor of San Juan, ratcheting up tensions over crisis in Puerto Rico.”
CNN: “Donald Trump’s last 7 days are just mind-bogglingly bad.”
The list of news headlines and stories bashing Trump over this past weekend is both vast and long.
Donald Trump is definitely taking a beating, and it’s not looking very good or could it simply be nothing more than just another painted picture?
I pose this question because on Friday as I watched CNN live and what I a witnessed was not the headlines CNN is attempting to sell it’s public.
So on Friday morning as I was getting in that 4am workout, sipping coffee and GO FAST, I watched CNN do something along the lines of Russian election interference fashion.
During the newscast, CNN played an interview from Thursday where acting Homeland Security Secretary Elaine Duke told reporters she was “very satisfied” with the federal response since Maria made landfall, calling it a “good news story.”
Then cut to commercial and once back a live interview with Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz of San Juan where the CNN news anchor informed Carmen about what Elaine Duke said, in particular about the federal response being a “good news story.”
Carmen became quite upset at hearing this, as one could imagine. I would be if I had been told what Elaine had said in the same context that the anchor informed Carmen about it.
CNN did take what Elaine said out of context in a very clear effort to stir the pot and get people pissed at Trump and his administration. They sold Carmen part of the story without ever touching on the stories entirety.
It was rather vulgar and disgusting.
While I am not Trump’s biggest fan, I am also not a fan of all of these reports about Russia stirring the race pot, or all of the other pots, with fake news, fake social media ad’s and accounts simply because you can turn on the evening news and watch that same behavior coming from the inside.
Our very own mainstream media organizations incite and inspire hate, loathing, and more division than Russia ever could have or did during the 2016 Presidential Election.
Trump has every right to be angry with the mainstream media after this past weekend, while he is an absurd little man who sometimes behaves and acts much like a half wit, the media if it were about real news would man up and show some class, at the very least rather than woefully and purposefully go out of it’s way to cause individuals to become angry with Trump and his administration.
And everyone keeps wondering just how Russia got its ammunition.
