James Comey – Donald Trump – The High School Musical.
So, if like me whenever you have opened up the news on your device you have noticed the high school drama that has been playing out between President Donald Trump and Former FBI Director James Comey.
Now even Congress the and then Senate are involved as well as some former and current employees of the FBI.
All with ‘expert’ opinions.
This comes on the heels of James Comey’s book that was released on the 17th.
Every mainstream article headline that I read left me feeling as if I were a young girl again and in high school.
Headlines that read much like:
“In tonight’s news, Trump raised one eyebrow when he heard James Comey compared him to a mob boss. Hear what our experts have read into that!”
“James Comey casually strolls through the park feeding birds stale bread as Trump calls him a slime ball, hear what our experts have read into that.”
“Tonight at 6pm ‘Current or former FBI ‘Official’, well we don’t care which he is, quite frankly, we don’t really know because he reported to under the condition anonymity which, may or may not be true, has an opinion with regards to James Comey and his book.”
“Trump walked out of the White House with one pant leg crumpled up. Stay tuned as our experts weigh in.”
“In exclusive video James Comey was seen walking through his house in a house robe, omg, hear what our experts have to say about James Comey’s mental frame of mind.
“Watch James Comey gaze at our reporter, its super intense and you cannot look away once you see it, we promise it’s super good and our reporter did not ever at one time look away, so like a cat, she won.” (Not sure what she won but according to a mainstream media outlet who shall remain unnamed, that reporter is the shit.)
Is it just me or has the mainstream media gotten way out of control with reporting on this Comey-Trump lovers quarrel?
Every lead in is like the opening for a game show.
It’s a book release for the love of God, a book that details someone’s personal experiences with Trump, it is not proof of any wrongdoing on the part of Trump because for that, one would need actual evidence.
Unless of course we no longer require that here in the US to convict someone.
Oh wait, that’s right, the media does not require evidence to convict someone these days.
At any rate, enough is enough, I think everyone is really tired of headlines filled with expert options with regards to Comey and Trump’s feud.
Let us make our own thoughts on the matter without the mainstream media’s incessant need to go well over the fine line of reporting and turn the nightly news into nothing more than propaganda reporting.
