Reddit Roasts America

Foreigners Share Their Unfiltered Thoughts About the State of America

Cristal M Clark

I suppose we should have expected something like this, it is 2020 and Donald Trump has turned the White House into a cesspool of White Trash the last 4 years, pretty much filling the swamp with well, white trash. Today on Reddit non-American’s shared their unfiltered opinions about the state of America as she stands as of today, and it’s actually really more true than most are willing to admit.

Look folks it’s no secret Trump and his administration failed really eloquently when it came to Coronavirus, it is also no secret that he is the by far biggest offender of spreading misinformation, I mean today he announced that Portland is on fire every day due to the protests. Portland is not on fire, are the protests out of hand? Yes.

Donald Trump also turns into a whiny little bitch when he is losing, he blames, pouts, lies, spreads misinformation trying to play into his base – in fact, he is running an add about defunding the police, with video playing in the background depicting violent protests that have all happened during his watch.

He also stirs the pot with regards to racism, he supports gun toting thugs showing up to a protest and shooting at protesters, killing people. Trump supports gun nuts who believe in and support vigilantism and those who want to become vigilantes.

It’s like he is fighting Biden, defunding the police and the police all at the same bloody time.

Tf? Hello Donald, you cannot have your cake and eat it too here. Trump will publicly praise these individuals and condemn protesters? Trump supports vigilantism, the act of violent, murderous behavior and yet can’t seem to educate himself enough to garner a shred of understanding for BLM?

No, rioting and looting are not protesting, I agree with that and it is still a fact that the groups looting and rioting are agitators who stand apart from peaceful protesters. These are in fact individuals who want to see this country go to war with each other. Yet at the same time, Trump will support a vigilante over the police he also claims to support? I’m so confused.

A simple question on Reddit today did really open a lot of eyes. The viral Reddit thread invited non-Americans on the internet to weigh in, asking them: “What is your genuine reaction to what’s going on in America right now?”

And here are more than just a few highlights with regards to how the rest of the world is seeing America right now:

“It’s like watching Britney Spears go through that “shaved-head phase.”

“America amirite” replaced talking about the weather. Everyone is dumbfounded by what’s going on.”

“For me, the craziest (and sadly, most predicable) thing was how there were Americans protesting face mask mandates. You’d think the most patriotic thing they could’ve done for their fellow countrymen would be to protect them, but nah.”

“On the other hand it’s sad that we know more about US politics than local politics. People protest for BLM in Berlin, and nobody talks about other things going on elsewhere.”

“The US always appeared like an older, stronger brother – now it feels like this brother started using meth.”

That one stings right?

“Actually, this is bit kind of encapsulates us perfectly. Don’t look too closely or you’ll see all the flaws. And the people who live here pretend they don’t exist.”

“You’re so busy flinging shit at each other, you can’t see the mess you’ve made.”

“European That lived in india and now in the states.. when I look back at American coworkers being afraid to have to travel to our india office and this it’s all so bad there I chuckle.. the streets here have always been dirtier than what I saw in Bangalore.. ppl here just don’t learn anything about any other country and think every other country has so much less.. I mean I was asked how I coped living in india for 2 years with no toilets in the house.. like wtf my apartment in Bangalore was nicer than the one I have in San Francisco.. every country has good and bad sides to it but the arrogance in the US that every other country only has bad sides to them and only the US is free (so many more points here) that will always be mind boggling to me.”

“I knew there were lots of idiots, but the sheer quantity is mind-blowing. And how so many Americans just can’t handle a view that’s different to their own, or at least allow others to have a different view, is crazy.”

“I’m from Syria. Everybody knew some shit like this is gonna happen.”

“I live in the asshole of the world Bosnia,Balkan. And it seems to me America just hit puberty.”

“Still on their first constitution.”

“Living in another shithole country (Republic of Moldova, Eastern Europe) I can confirm that what happens in USA right now is what we are experiencing here for more than 30 years. Even before that, even before USSR, we were quite a polarized country (I can’t even call us a nation).”

Guess we have Trump to thank for making the “Shithole Country” thing take off, it’s quite a hit.

“Kinda surprised cuz you guys actually have money can live well have acess to culture and just dont even bother to , not really surprised cuz my country is even worst so the fact that people go out of their way to do dumb shit is something im very aware.”

“For me, I feel like nothing in America can surprise me now, I’m just like, ‘Of course that’s happening now.’ I feel sorry for the sane people over there.”

“Being in the UK right now kind of feels like being in a little boat that has broken down and everyone’s too busy being mad at the captain to fix anything. But then you look to the left and there’s a big cruise ship burning as it sinks with people fighting on every deck, and the captain’s throwing gasoline on everything, and you feel a little bit better about the shitty boat you’re in.”

“Canadian here. Like others have said, it’s really all beyond comprehension. To see a once-great nation plunged into chaos and insanity, being ripped apart by a disease that is going unopposed, and is even supported by the country’s own president and many citizens. My country is going well, all things considered, but I’m a bit scared that it’s going to make its way to us. We’re protected by a thin border and border patrol really. The American tidal wave could be disastrous to us if we let them through. We need to keep the borders closed for non-commercial travel.”

“Honestly, it’s borderline beyond comprehension. It constantly feels a little more like a poorly written soap opera than real life.”

“I can’t believe how Americans can politicize EVERYTHING?! Wearing masks, postal service…and before these newer topics, universal healthcare, free (or at least vastly cheaper) university, higher taxation, etc. Those things are a reality in most developed countries, but in America it seems like you can just scream ‘socialism’ and people are against everything. From my German point of view, the two-party system and electoral votes are seriously fucked up, and even the moderate Democrats are pretty right-wing.”

“I don’t wanna talk about Trump, but wow, the anti-maskers piss me off. Like, dude, wear a fucking mask. How hard can it be?”

“This us also true in America. No one knows anything about their local politics. So many if these systemic issue would be better addressed if people focused their energy on their local communities.”

“It honestly just looks like a reality show. It’s really how you’d expect a country like america to be.”

It does not get any better the more you read and honestly, none of it is a lie or in any way, shape or form inaccurate.

Both sides are to blame, both are stirring the pot, Trump is supporting a murderous teen who shot protesters, killing two and he is stirring the pot by painting the shooter as a victim? It isn’t getting any better, it in fact stands to get worse. This country very well could find herself at war by the new year. This young man not only set out to shoot people, he waltzed into a protest carrying a loaded weapon illegally, this young man had clear intent to kill all in the name of Donald J Trump.

That isn’t just the only infraction here, we have adults having meltdowns over wearing a fucking mask. These people will literally inhale a bucket of KFC, wash it down with mashed potatoes and gravy without taking a single, solitary breath, and can’t wear a mask to run into the grocery store? And Trump supports that behavior. He managed to find some whack job doctor to go against the grain and agree with anything and everything Donald J Trump wants in an effort to sweep the truth under the rug while more American lives are lost? Are you kidding? I am utterly surprised the guy isn’t urging us to drink shots of bleach.

The point is, Russia got precisely what she wanted here, manipulate, lie, throw a baboon into the oval office, rip America apart. And Russia is still meddling,  you see on social media all the time, in particular Facebook, so much misinformation is being shared through memes, fake news, groups that are not legitimate, it’s everywhere.

I understand why the rest of the world views us the way they do, try be an American and watching your entire world fall apart all at the hands of some pretty piss poor leadership who could could give a shit less about even his supporters who are also dying of Covid, worse yet being charged criminally for pulling guns on people, calling the police on Blacks who are bird watching or strolling down the street, wrecking stores, hitting people, spitting on people, coughing on people, pulling guns on people all because they were asked to wear a mask into an establishment, the most patriotic thing you can do. Trump doesn’t like the all too real honesty of his own White House medical team with regards to Covid-19, so he brings some lackluster wannabe who just wants his name in a history book or two to go along with what Trump wants here because I’m sure somewhere Donald has a PHD right?

On the other side, rioting and looting that isn’t helping, that too is making matters worse and that lends power to Trump’s cause, his base, his misinformation campaign. This is America and people shouldn’t fear living here, Blacks should not have to fear being stopped by a cop for any reason. Our president should be the loudest voice of all in support of Black lives, yet he prefers to stir the racial pot.

And all of this is what Putin wanted.

Congrats Putin.

Homeless Advocates Get on TV and Lie to Media and Public

Denver, Colorado Homeless Sweep – Take II

Cristal M Clark

Today marks the second consecutive day in Denver, we fell witness to more homeless camp sweeps and several homeless advocates showing up and protesting the sweeps. Today however, while I was watching the sweeps live I witnessed a homeless advocate blatantly lie to both the media and to the public in an effort to justify his cause, or rather why Denver is seeing so many homeless individuals that should be allowed to camp in every and any public right of way of his or her choosing.

The man informed the media and the watching public that the reason the numbers of homeless has increased is because of the pandemic. Right now, straight up I will call the guy and anyone else out on utilizing that excuse, it’s a flat out and blatant lie and it is pathetic.

David Scott loads supplies into his tent home in downtown Denver. “As long as they keep it to where we’re getting cleaned, not swept, it’s all right,” says Scott.

Fact – up until the end of the July everyone on unemployment was getting a free additional $600 per week on top of their regular unemployment benefit.

Fact – cities and states nationwide we have an eviction moratorium in place, hence people are not being evicted due to non payment of rent because of the pandemic. Which also brings up a really good question however, why were they not paying rent when they had the extra $600 per week? Sure I get that, no one is getting the additional $600 per week on top of the regular unemployment benefit now as it went away at the end of july however, here in Denver they are getting an extra $300 per week on top of the unemployment benefit currently.

To be brutally honest, if they were not paying rent while they were receiving the extra $600 per week, what were they spending the money on? Paying other bills? Were they living beyond their means prior to the pandemic? I ask because to blame the pandemic for the homeless situation right now as of today does not make much sense, at all, not mathematically or logically.

At any rate, it is understandable for those who did not start getting benefits for several months however you’d still be pretty hard pressed to believe they were actually evicted with courts and judicial systems shut down from around March until June, some still are not running at 100%, and evictions are not a priority.

By the time many states refused to allow evictions, not to mention those who serve eviction paperwork such as sheriff deputies nationwide refusing to serve said notices during a pandemic, the moratoriums were already in place. So it still doesn’t make a lot of sense to use the excuse that the homeless situation in Denver or nationwide is due to the pandemic.

The lies about the homeless in Denver and around the nation being due to the pandemic, need to stop otherwise put your money where your mouth is and prove it, unequivocally.

For Denver, before anyone uses the pandemic as an excuse, I want to see the eviction notice from the property manager who sought to evict during a pandemic, I want the badge number of the sheriff’s deputy that served said notice, show us the name of the judge that signed off on it, those things would be on the paperwork after all, show us the proof that these individuals are homeless because of the pandemic but, be careful because while they cannot be evicted under the moratorium for non-payment of rent due to a job loss, they can still be evicted for reasons outside of that.

The number of individuals who are homeless in Denver has been on the increase the past several years-fact we’ve been clearing homeless camps regularly since 2015 and that is primarily because:

People move to Denver because we are a growing and thriving city but fail to do a cost of living check before they move.

The cost of living in Denver is too far above what the average wages are which is the fault of our city and state leaders who saw dollar signs rather than the inevitable, human strife and suffering because along with all of these super expensive highrise apartments the wages needed to live in them, did not follow. That is all greed plain and simple because to some extent cities and states can control both the cost of living and wages believe it or not.

What’s more is that I drive right through downtown Denver 5 days a week, I have seen the homeless become agitated, violent and out of control, dangerous if you will. Many of which are either mentally insane or self medicating, some both. That is neither the fault of the out of whack of the cost of living nor is it our leadership’s fault, that is the fault of the advocates who are promoting the idea that being homeless is simply okay and we should simply put up with it rather than addressing the situation honestly with businesses, city leaders and citizens. They prefer to excuse the behaviors rather than go out and fight for the funding needed so as to prevent the homeless situation.

I am a huge advocate of the homeless, yet I do not feel that we should excuse it, nor do I feel we should offer free housing or assistance to homeless individuals without them meeting us halfway.

If they want off the streets, free housing and medical care, they too need to step up and follow the rules, take the medication, stay clean, attend therapy and attend work programs, get jobs or risk being put into jail or worse, institutionalized. And all of that is missing funding currently. We need to find a long term place for those who are deemed unable to to live in society due to extreme mental illness/instability, an institution where they are not allowed to leave.

Seems harsh, but I have watched the homeless in Denver increase for several years. I have had to step over sleeping individuals, walk around them, run the other direction from them, worry while sitting at a traffic light because I’ve seen them hit car windows when drivers ignore them. It is a nuisance and public health issue and at times a dangerous situation. I will not go as far as to say being homeless is a choice but I will say that I am not seeing many of them even try.

In some cases it is a choice they are making while in other cases, it is simply not a choice, they do not have the mental wellness to make a choice, and in a few cases it is because they feel lost, have no hope and I would imagine sought help but that help failed to meet the needs those individuals have.

And that, is yet another lie advocates tend to tell, they gloss over the inability of many programs to help meet the needs of the homeless due to lack of funding because they are too lazy to address that with the public.

Well folks, it’s either pay more in taxes or continue to see this issue in Denver and nationwide. We all need to step up but first advocates need to stop lying about why people are homeless. Period.

Denver, Colorado – Homeless Sweeps

Sweeping Through the Mile High City

Cristal M Clark

Denver has for the past several weeks conducted homeless camp sweeps, in an effort to clean up the city and get the homeless out of the right of way and out of the eyesight of hard working taxpayers who fear property values will decrease due to all of the homeless here in the Mile High City.

Then we have an entirely different perspective from individuals who care about the homeless and who could care less about property values.

What we have are two opposing sides and in the middle a core group of individuals with no real way out, no real help out and who cannot break the cycle. Some yes, do not want to be anything other than homeless whilst others do not see a light at the end of the tunnel.

It’s easy to request they be sent to shelters or to services designed to assist, what is important to remember is that many shelters are quite scary, offer little safety and are rife with bed bug infestations, unclean, and tend to pack the homeless into small, cramped places.

Many of the programs designed to assist the homeless with reintegrating within the society to become contributing members lack the proper funding needed to properly assist all of the homeless in the many ways they need help, not to mention we no longer have mental health institutions which would normally house the more mentally insane of the homeless, those that are too far mentally ill to help them get off the streets.

We have also seen an increase of individuals who are not technically homeless yet who are living as if they are just, for the sole purpose of causing anarchy, rioting and problems for law enforcement. To create an issue that is not truly an issue so it would appear we have a problem, in an effort to sway the general public which is one of the ways Hitler was so successful in his endeavors. These are agitators.

So today whilst I was watching the live stream of the homeless sweep in Denver, I began watching the live feed to see what people were saying. It would appear we have some rather uneducated and over privileged individuals living in and around the downtown area these days and it would also appear that we have a large group of bleeding hearts both sides lack the understanding, knowledge and education about what it is to be homeless, addiction, what it takes to actually clean up a homeless population. I mean you cannot just give them housing, yet you cannot force them into the housing that is available. It is not the job of police to force the homeless to go to a shelter, being homeless is not illegal and our police force should not have to babysit it.

We have too many opinions and not enough of the right action. No action plan as a matter of fact and being homeless is becoming too much of a political game. To fix it, we need to invest and to invest we need to look at the causes and how to treat those causes and we need to fund that treatment. Which in turn means taxpayers will have to choose between carrying that burden or continuing to bitch about the action and the non-action of our city leaders no matter which side they are on. Those are simply facts.

Another very big issue we must face is the fact that the cost of living did become way out of line with average wages and if this pandemic has it’s way we might soon watch that fall to pieces. Millions are still out of work, if they can find work they are not earning livable wages, unemployment benefits are not forever, many companies, bars, venues, restaurants and shops will not be reopening due to the loss of sales through the pandemic and those that have reopened, opened with a lessor capacity allowed of both customers and employees. Some businesses are not ever going to be able to rehire the employees that they had.

So this issue with the cost of living, it’s going to get worse and for management companies and property owners who rent, they will get foreclosed on.

The pandemic did in fact show the entire world just how shitty American workers are paid in comparison to the average living expenses, so while we look down our noses at China and other countries for the cheap labor, we should also be looking down our own noses at America, where the greedy live off of the less wealthy and greedy. Not a status one can or should be proud of currently.

So unless we address the cost of living the homeless population stands a really good chance of growing on top of the current issues and situations.

Rather than doing homeless sweeps and moving people from area to area, we need to hit the table with a real discussion with renters, community leaders, tax payers, the apartment associations and management companies, rental property owners and banks, and we need to come up with real solutions instead of the sweeping the problem under the rug.

It’s about time to start addressing issues instead of trying to hide them or turning a blind eye to it as if we are better than the homeless, for we are not when become so cold and inhumane.

Portland Oregon – Enough is Enough

Portland Police Get Pulled from Calls to Deal with Riots

Cristal M Clark

I get the protesting, I get the reasons, I also get the angst and the anger but the rioting, the violence? It’s time to say enough is enough. Overnight in Portland, Oregon police were pulled from other calls so that they could deal with a violent downtown riot.  According to police on Monday, 35 Portland police officers were pulled from their patrol assignments to cover an overnight protest, which was later declared a riot, in Oregon’s largest city, causing a delay in response to roughly 80 911 calls for help with issues ranging from shots fired and missing persons.

Demonstrators set fire to two awnings at Portland Police Bureau’s North Precinct, shined lasers and threw “sharp chunks” of rocks, large metal screws and paint bombs at officers.

The demonstration “forced the assistance of about 35 officers from patrol, severely limiting call response. As the riot was ending, there were 80 calls just holding in the city, ranging from shots fired, car crashes, welfare checks, priority threats, missing persons, and more,” police said.

By the way, it was the third night in a row for Portland that demonstrators started rioting rather than protesting.

When protests turn to violence and rioting they become chaos, disorder and anarchy, which is precisely why Donald Trump tried to send in his secret police force. Agree with it or not, it was to maintain peace and order, to prevent riots from happening.

It’s perfectly fine to support peaceful protesting, peaceful demonstrations for whatever the cause, but the second they turn into violent outbursts we must in turn support our law enforcement who are taking the brunt of those blows. Not to mention our cities and small shops, businesses and innocent citizens calling on 911 who are  getting caught in the crossfire.

What is most intriguing here however, is the pandemic, the widespread job losses it leaves one to wonder if that perhaps isn’t helping to fan the flames of the discontent in this nation. One thing tends to tip the scales, with so many things out of balance currently, all it takes is one thing to become the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

We are after all watching that play out in realtime and that will move on from state to state, city to city unless we start to regain control, law and order. If we continue to allow for the rioting, the anarchy, the violence in one city, others will follow, that is simply a fact.

Absurd Denver City Council Woman Wants to Replace DPD with Peace Force

Abusing the Idea of Defunding The Police

Cristal M Clark

While many major cities are facing accusations of rampant police abuse and misuse of force Denver has relatively managed to stay out of the headlines mainly because our police tend not to engage in such destructive activity. Now that is not to say we don’t have at times one or two officers that go too far, we are most certainly not landing in major headlines for police misconduct unlike Aurora.

But if City Councilwoman Candi CdeBaca gets her way, we could soon see the DPD replaced with a peace force? If passed by voters, the city council would fund the Department of Peacekeeping Services, and appoint its members.

Sometimes you look at elected officials and sit back in awe wondering how in the hell they were ever elected. I mean this Candi CdeBaca has effortlessly and continuously shown us the level of her ineptitude, the woman is truly a nut case.

The bill also says the department would implement strategies to prevent conflict, reduce violence, and strengthen security, and prioritize a holistic, anti-racist, public health-oriented approach.

Policies and procedures would be created in collaboration with minority groups, and designed by a Citizen Oversight Board.

Here is the problem with the idea of defunding the police and bringing in these so called peace forces, and changing how the police operate, oversight groups, and putting non law enforcement out on the streets: our society is not yet ready to replace violence with peace and that is very, very clear. I doubt police misconduct accounted for last night’s senseless shootings along Federal Blvd.

In fact Denver is on track to see the deadliest year in over a decade as violence has seemingly increased during the pandemic. We could blame it on violent clashes between police and protesters but that would be inaccurate, as we saw and fell witness to protesters who attended protests for the sheer purpose of creating a clash between themselves and police in an effort to paint a picture that is for lack of better words overall simply untrue of this city and our police.

The idea of defunding the police is to demilitarize them, not to create peace forces to send out into the streets, it is to retrain police to become better at keeping the peace rather than to take a military approach. When we talk about defunding and creating yet another group of individuals we must pay, we are talking about putting a strain on tax payers and on society by not hiring law enforcement officers otherwise why the fuck do we have laws?

Furthermore, our society is clearly not ready to replace violent behavior with more peaceful and less violent behavior therefore if we defund the police and put funding elsewhere, we end up with a much larger problem than police misconduct as it would not only be probable but inevitable that violence would continue to grow long before it subsides.

We need to carefully sit back and take a realistic look at what defunding the idea of defunding the police really was and is and make more appropriate suggestions rather than peace keeping forces thrust into a society that clearly is not ready nor capable of supporting them.

The point is, before making major changes to society, one should consider the society they want to make changes within and understand the consequences of said changes when you try to make them within a society that is not yet ready to support said changes. The violence here in Denver lately has very little if anything to do with our police and to be be rather point blank, we do not have an ongoing issues with systemic racism here in Denver.

Gun Nuts Celebrate Man Who Shot His Own Balls Off

By Honoring Him as Their King

Cristal M Clark

At some point you have to stand back and just wonder at the level of stupidity of some and this case is no different, in fact it clearly illustrates the utter stupidity we have brewing about out in society.

Facebook hosts a group of gun whack jobs who love taking pictures of themselves pointing loaded weapons at their balls. Yes you did read that right. These highly intelligent men seem to think it’s smart to point a loaded weapon at one’s genitalia.

Of course you know something is bound to go wrong and as luck would have it, it did in fact go wrong for one unlucky man. This past week, the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed the incident to Motherboard, reported that on the 11th, a member of the group “Loaded Guns Pointed at Benis” posted a video of himself pointing a loaded 1911 handgun at his dick when suddenly there’s a brief pause and the gun discharges.

The original video of the man shooting himself in the balls and subsequent thread has been deleted, but members of the group captured the video and aftermath and reuploaded it. It’s a little bloody.

Now if that weren’t enough, these freaks are actually celebrating the guy, who blew off his own balls which he initially thought were just grazed.

Benis told Motherboard in a Facebook message. “The reason we are calling him king is partially because the poor guy already shot himself, don’t think he needs to be chastised as well… I’m quite sure he’s learned his lesson without the entire world calling him an idiot.”

In the last public post from the man, he’s in a green hospital gown on a gurney. A pink mask is draped across his face and he’s pointing his finger at his crotch like a gun.

So I’m going to go out on a limb here and just get this out, the guy is pointing his finger at his dick, after blowing his own balls off, I seriously doubt that he learnt his lesson here folks. Seriously!

Now, Loaded Guns Pointed at Benis has made the shooter an admin, and the group is making memes of him as their king. In one meme, Barack Obama is giving him a Presidential Medal of Freedom. The group changed its cover photo to a screenshot of the shooter pointing his loaded 1911 at his dick.

“We are sick and tired of being demonized as gun owners, and looped together with the alt-right just for owning guns,” an admin of Loaded Guns Pointed at Benis told Motherboard in a Facebook message. “We are sick of republicans (think NRA) telling us what to do with our property, and we are sick of being told that just because we like guns It means we have to be anti woman, pro life and pro trump.”

Okay sounds good, we’ll just view you as pathetically fucking stupid from here on out, fair enough. No need to daemonize  attention seeking morons.

Trump’s Axios Interview – Both Cringe-worthy and Painful

How Many More Failing Moments Does He Have Left

Cristal M Clark

If anyone caught Trump’s rather painful and cringe-worthy interview on HBO’s Axios you know what I am talking about when I say that I am pretty certain that the rest of the world is watching Trump’s interviews as if they were Novella’s.

Here in America you are either drinking whilst watching them, and heavily because we make up games to play whenever he says something stupid or you just bury your head in the sand.

Here’s how it basically went down: Trump began the interview by telling Jonathan Swan of Axios a strange tale about Trump’s coronavirus response and the current state of the pandemic, which were all lies and everyone in the world knows it. Duh, numbers dipshit. But the ending was a rather glorious ending with Trump making the death of civil rights leader John Lewis all about himself. Zero recognition for all the good, all that John Lewis fought for, the great man he was, nothing. It was all about how John Lewis never attended Trump’s ridiculous State of the Union (hey most of were drunk), and about how John Lewis never attended Trump’s inauguration (again, many hard working, honest, not stupid or blind American’s spent that time drunk or deeply depressed).

I’ve really got to hand it to Jonathan because at one point Trump handed him some made up statistics (most likely drawn up with a Sharpie) with regards to the pandemic and Jonathan shot back with the actual number of deaths in the US when Trump responded, you can’t use that.

So, we can’t use facts these days?

Trump started waving around his beloved charts and papers, like a three year old shows off his/her first piece of artwork.

The effort however was painfully unconvincing, Donald Trump tried to make it seem as though the US coronavirus death toll of more than 150,000 isn’t as bad as it seems.

“Right here, the United States is lowest in … numerous categories … ah, we’re lower than the world,” Trump stammered, Jonathan responded, “lower than the world? In what?”

“Oh, you’re doing death as a proportion of cases,” Swan continued. “I’m talking about death as a proportion of population. That’s where the US is really bad. Much worse than South Korea, Germany, etc. … Look at South Korea: 50 million population, 300 deaths.”

Trump responded by suggesting South Korea is faking its numbers. But when Swan challenged him on that point, Trump quickly changed the topic back to his pieces of paper.

“Here’s one right here. You take the number of cases. No, look. We’re last. Meaning we’re first,” Trump said.

“I mean, 1,000 Americans die a day,” Swan responded. “If hospital rates were going down and deaths were going down, I’d say terrific, you deserve to be praised for testing. But they’re all going up!”

Jonathan was absolutely relentless however, he hit Donald Trump with a string of questions about why he isn’t doing more to fight the coronavirus and why the virus has hit the US so much harder than other comparable countries.

Jonathan asked Trump point blank how he can say the pandemic is under control when roughly 1,000 Americans are dying from Covid-19 each day, Trump’s response: “it is what it is.”

“There are those that say you can test too much. You know that?” Trump said at one point.

“Who says that?” Swan responded.

“Read the manuals. Read the books,” answered Trump.

“What books?” Swan challenged, but no answer was forthcoming. Instead, Trump said that “when I took over we didn’t even have a test.”

Wait, what? I’m sorry were our past presidents psychic and we all missed that?

Again, this is the leader of the free world showing us very, very clearly just how little he cares for anyone’s well being. His only care is winning an election he may very well end up losing because of his inability to respond to the pandemic honestly, wholeheartedly, like a fucking human being, you know care about your fellow man, you know Trump, your voters?

The worst however was the moment Trump didn’t seem to know the difference between a mail in ballot and an absentee ballot.

And he is still against mail in voting except for…

Today he cleared mail in voting down in his new home state of Florida but also slammed other states for saying that they would allow it because he fears that the democrats will “steal” the election.

More made up stories, lies, deceit and bullshit. He twists the story to suit his needs and only where it suits him best.

It is becoming more and more evident that Trump would rather millions die in this country over handling the Pandemic all for the shot at winning another 4 years in the Oval trash pit he has created.

Pathetic Trump Gives Microsoft 45 Days To Acquire TikTok

Meanwhile in Miami, People Pay for Fake Negative Covid-19 Test Results.

In the latest bullshit Trump is pulling, he has decided that he is going to ban the popular with teens and young adults, Chinese owned app, TikTok. With everything going on in the US, hell the world, this is what Trump is focusing on. A couple of my detective friends on Friday as the news broke, sent me messages one read “My God, I am glad the leader of the free world is focusing on our country’s greatest concerns.” And you know, that really did put this into perspective.

He and his administration are reasoning this with the fact that they simply fear the owners of the app will well share user data with China, even though TikTok has vowed long ago not to share user data and even if they did, it would not matter.

Now if any of you have seen TikTok, you might be sitting back like me and saying wtf? Who cares, it’s not top secret, the stuff posted on TikTok is purely for entertainment, nothing more or less. The reality is simple here, Trump is upset over all you naughty teens and young adults making fun of him through the app.

That’s right, he is having a temper tantrum of epic proportions but with an added twist which he thinks is going to make him look smart. According to Trump: “The U.S. Treasury would need to get a lot of money out of a TikTok deal.” Which he had to later defend stating that no one else would think of that.

Umm okay.

Nicholas Klein, a lawyer at DLA Piper, said generally “the government doesn’t have the authority to take a cut of a private deal through” the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), which is the interagency committee that reviews some foreign investments in the United States. It was not clear how the U.S. government would receive part of the purchase price.

But let’s get back to the issue at hand, the sharing of user data and information.

Go ahead and look at the above meme again. Need I say more on the subject?

And you thought that was it.

That’s right, people in Florida are paying to get Fake, negative Covid-19 test results even if they are positive for Covid-19. Is that Trump’s magic vaccine? You just pay to get a negative test?

And Donald J Trump is worried about TikTok?
