In very recent news it has come to light that one Benjamin Foster, 36-years old is utilising dating sites to lure women whom he then tortures and leaves for dead.
As if dating wasn’t already bad enough right? Here in Denver it’s a nightmare and that is across the board generationally. It’s regardless of sex or orientation as well. I hear so many horror stories from anyone dating about just how bad it is.
Now we need to be on the lookout for this bloke?
Here’s a little history about Benjamin.
In 2019, before moving to Oregon, Benjamin held his then-girlfriend captive inside her Las Vegas apartment for 2 weeks. He initially was charged with 5 felonies, including assault and battery, and faced decades in prison upon conviction. But in August 2021, Benjamin reached a deal with Clark County prosecutors that allowed him to plead guilty to just 1 felony count of battery and a misdemeanour count of battery constituting domestic violence.
A judge sentenced him to up to 2 1/2 years in a Nevada prison. The 729 days he had spent in jail awaiting trial were factored into his punishment, which subsequently left Benjamin to serve fewer than 200 days in state custody.
Benjamin’s then girlfriend suffered 7 broken ribs, 2 black eyes and injuries from being bound at the wrists and ankles with zip ties and duct tape during her two-week captivity, according to the Las Vegas police.
The woman also told police she was forced to eat lye and was choked to the point of unconsciousness.
She escaped when Benjamin let her out of his sight during a trip together to a grocery store and gas station.
According to court records, Benjamin was out of custody at the time on a suspended jail sentence for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. He just to happened to also be awaiting trial in another 2018 case involving domestic violence.
Now to Oregon
Police in Grants Pass, a town of 40,000 in southwest Oregon, said Benjamin Foster is believed to be armed and “extremely dangerous.”
Benjamin is accused of torturing a woman that he held captive in Oregon and he just so happens to be going onto dating sites to lure both victims and those who will protect him from law enforcement.
According to law enforcement: “We are using every piece of technology available to locate this man.”
Disgustingly, last Thursday Grants Pass police, sheriff’s Deputies, an Oregon State Police Swat team along with a team of federal agents raided a property in Wolf Creek which is about 20 miles north of Grants Pass where they found and this is is just sickening 68-year-old Tina Marie Jones who had been trying to protect Benjamin by hindering law enforcement.
What. The. Fuck?
According to law enforcement Benjamin “is actively using online dating applications to contact unsuspecting individuals who may be lured into assisting with the suspect’s escape or potentially as additional victims.”
The Reward is an astonishing $2,500 for intel leading up to his arrest and prosecution.
Are you kidding me? That’s it for a man who is about to take his sick game nationwide?
What a complete joke.
Can we skip back to his charges in Nevada, was that handled at all appropriately? Let’s face the reality here that still to this day domestic violence victims rarely see true justice. The guy is just a number spinning through the system and not one single individual working the system gives an actual fuck as to whether or not he reoffends because if he does, he’ll just end up another number somewhere else or worse just kill his next victim.
