Millions of American’s Lives in Peril after Mitch McConnell Fucks Them

Donald Trump Enjoying Yet Another Day of Inaction and Golf

Cristal M Clark

In case you did not notice the state of American Politics is a complete disaster and a joke. It is disgusting at best.

Today Mitch McConnell shot down the request for $2000 stimulus payments as Americans struggle to pay for food, rent, other basic bills that are considered necessities like oh, power, health care and the like.

Basically both Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell fucked American’s in the arse with no lube.

I know if you are not here in America you might be wondering why?

Because of Greed and the fact that Mitch McConnell tends to be a bit of a narcissist which would account for why he and Donald Trump get on so well.

Trump pushed for larger payments to American’s however he tied that request to an investigation into voter fraud over the 2020 Presidential Election. Many investigations were conducted already and to date they have found no of voter fraud, in the sense that it would overturn the election or be some outlandish thing devised just to rid the White House of our mentally unstable current President. Quite frankly after speaking with hundreds of voters on both sides, they are sick of this and are really disgusted by the fact that these political leaders are playing games with the lives of Americans.

I am sure that the FBI is having quite the heyday here, has anyone been reading some of the posts on social media, forums, chat rooms and the dark web? People are beginning to talk about acts of violence, no matter which side they were on. Many are ready to walk away in disgust from both parties.

McConnell is using Senate rules and power to block public will unless he gets what he wants. A repeal on Section 230, so he can roll back Tech company immunity and he wants a voter fraud commission so Republicans can keep trying to overturn the election.

HE also wants to make it difficult for the democrats to agree with him, you see if they are unwilling he can try to turn the tables on them. If this feels a lot like watching an abusive relationship with two dueling narcissists don’t worry, because it is.

States could if they wanted to, just cut checks to everyone who is currently (not to folks who have gone back to work), on unemployment due to job related loss over the pandemic for the extra $2000 and then in turn bill the Federal Government, fuck em, right? I mean go around the so-called leaders and do the right thing by your constituents.

The point is, no matter what party you affiliate yourself with it should be abundantly clear that they do not care in the least about you.

Trump and McConnell are not bright on their own but together they are even more inept which is quite a remarkable feat to have accomplished. If they gave to the people without the politics when the people need it the most, they’d actually gain more voters the next go around.

Two idiots.

US Leaders Prove Again How Out of Touch They Are

They Simply Do Not Understand Economics or Math in General

Cristal M Clark

Colorado learned right off that one of the provisions in the new stimulus package that was meant to help renters cover that monthly bill is not going to put a dent in the issue at hand. I would venture a guess that many other major cities are realizing the same.

Now that Congress is pushing for $2000 stimulus payments after not only a media and public outcry but Trump stuck his rather large arse in the deal people feel less hopeless. Honestly though, he should have been pushing for this rather than lying about election fraud, of which none exists except for the guy who wrote in a vote on behalf of his mother, his dead mother, for Trump.

Either way, at least he said something in the end.

If the $600 didn’t get your attention and tick you off, hold onto your hats folks because the rental assistance provision is so far out of touch with today’s reality you’re going to walk away demanding term limits, and political leaders who clearly understand the public they serve, know the states they serve, what the economic situation is.

So Colorado learned that we will get paid as much as Minnesota or Wisconsin from the HEROES Act rental assistance, but Colorado needs nearly twice as much to cover Coloradans’ rent because our rent costs twice to three times as much as it does in Minnesota or Winsconsin.

Under the Hero’s Act that means that our rent costs more than our share of the U.S. population.

Each state government will get a share of that money in proportion to its share of the U.S. population. Colorado, with 1.74% of the U.S. population, will get $383 million. State and local governments will then use it how they see fit. And it better not go to section 8 or any type of subsidised housing, period. This is for the working class that under any other circumstance would not qualify for section 8 or subsidised housing. Those individuals are already receiving subsidies.

A 5 year old could figure this out, if you don’t understand the rental costs nationwide and you decided to give rental assistance during a pandemic but, for instance  like with Colorado who has a grossly exaggerated rental cost and who gets the same rental assistance as a state with roughly the same population but with cheaper rent, you are unfit to serve in any capacity in public service or office. That says a lot about our so called leaders making all these decisions so as to help and to protect us doesn’t it? These people are unfit truly to be in office, so out of touch with those of us you claim to represent. I wonder in the last two decades just how many politicians have taken the time to understand the community or nation they serve right?

While this will not help Colorado renters much, it also shows that the sheer greed of developers and the real estate industries who have been out of control in this state since 2010. It also shows us just how many people do live paycheck to paycheck.

The cost of rent should never be more than what people make but again, that is a leadership issue, when city, municipal and state leaders want to attract the wealthy and affluent, you create a problem rather than solve one. Thanks to the pandemic that is illustrated perfectly for us. These leaders lure great companies to their cities and states by offering tax breaks and such, the companies rarely if ever keep their end of the bargain and cities don’t bother to check so things become out of balance, hence the rental rates you see in some cities. Colorado is not California nor is it New York, but our leadership thinks it wants to be, the people however feel vastly different because it hit our pocketbooks in not good ways.

New York is a fantastic example, they built all of these super luxurious and expensive apartments, townhomes and lofts hoping to attract the super wealthy and that failed now they are looking at turning some of that into “affordable housing,” and shelters for the homeless.

Now the nation down the road here might also be looking at another housing collapse. Luxury apartments are a waste of money quite frankly, the material that goes into them is not what you’d get if you were to buy a home. Sure it looks nice and fancy, but the reality is, developers will use the cheapest most realistic looking material that they can, like realistic looking tile that is just a fake wall covering, and sell it as luxury. Not to mention now that many have restaurants and bars on the lower level along with small retail which are closed during the pandemic, along with the gyms in them, it tells what a waste these are.

Here in Colorado from Longmont, Boulder, Broomfield, Westminster, Northglenn, Thornton, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Denver, down to Englewood, Littleton, Parker, the DTC, Centennial, Castle Rock, and every city in between since 2010 what you see if you watch closely were due to the increased cost of rent and cost of living in general, the working class was left behind as wages stopped increasing so, they were starting to rent extra space out hoping to be able to save, which is still going on unchecked. People even rented couches out. Those that were in grossly overpriced apartments have renters park on streets and hike in just so cars would not be towed, if you were lucky to have a parking lot. In Denver, property management groups swept in and brought up Victorian homes that were already remodeled as apartments, slapped new paint all over, threw down new carpet and started charging 2-4 times more for rent but had no parking or amenities, but they had to compete with the luxury apartments so, renters were forced to take in roommates who are largely not on leases. All of that drove up the cost of purchasing a home and taxes which again led to rental situations that are more often than not, illegal in most major cities. City leaders everywhere should have prevented that – that out of touch with reality rental costs, it would have kept rental costs down and we’d not be looking at such a horrible rental crisis today. We took away the people’s ability to save, the working classes’ ability to save and by far, we are the largest home buying and renting population that any city, state or municipality has.

The sad truth is, that has been going on since 2010 and ignorance is not an excuse one can use to dismiss it and now of all times to have to face an even worse housing crisis in the face of a pandemic city leaders are being hit with the mistake they or those before them made with all of that greedy thinking without looking first. It’s like reading, you know learning so you are educated enough to make a decision that benefits the state, city or municipality you serve. Understand what people earn before you try to overrun your city with overpriced rental properties that are going to go under in the face of a worldwide crisis. But you know I guess here in the US it’s not live and learn I mean look at the state of our infrastructure. Highway systems are a complete joke, our electrical system is a joke, we have population growth in some parts of Denver that happened faster than cell towers could grow so in those areas most people have no cell service, yea no one was thinking of population growth realistically.

Point being is that you already fail as a leader the second you don’t take the time to truly understand how growth and your precious economy need to be hand in hand instead of overnight. IF you are not looking out for your constituents as that growth happens so as to ensure they can afford to continue to live in the city they built, your as a leader are not worth your weight in gold. Useless is what that kind of leader is.

Leaders more often than not only think of growth and wealth, the wealthy, they usually don’t take much time to consider the working class. You know the people who make the growth happen in cities, by being the middle working class and when things crash, it is because of that lack of thought, education and understanding. But that simple economics, something our leaders in the US have no concept of, whatsoever.

Covid-19 – America’s Grade

Sanitizer-Shortage-crimeshop

American’s Feeling Unsafe, Uncertain, Letdown

Cristal M Clark

Overall Grade: F+

This past week put thousands of American’s out of work, many of which are now worried about paying bills. To date our Government has done very little to calm those growing fears. As those fears swell, so will the already angry environment we have become.

In America our answer to job loss is a meger unemployment, which does not meet any basic needs. Unlike in the UK where the structure put into place actually pays the out of work individual his or her salary they had been making so that they can continue to sustain the economy and people can still pay their bills.

Here in the US we receive a huge fuck you, go into debt, lose all your shit and welcome back to a workforce that will no longer pay livable wages, yet we are not going to force the economy to alighn itself with anything other than greed, driven by both the corporate world and our very own government.

Right before everything collapsed, 4 members of congress sold off their stocks making huge profits, which they did illegally because they utilized details from a briefing, which you, I or Martha Stewart would go to prison for.

All of our lowest paid, lowest skilled workers, the ones no one wants to pay more than a meger $15 per hour are all stepping forward to help keep grocery stores, fast food, gas stations, open and running for the rest of us most of which are in fact panic shopping. Consumers freaked out so much due to a media driven panic, that the elderly and disabled are left empty handed when trying to buy food or basic necessities, our first responders are lacking basic necessities while they care for those hospitalized with Covid-19.

2020-plague-crimeshop

Our country, our infrastructure, our current systems in place, they do not work to bring an established society back from something like this.

That said, when will we get back to normal? We don’t because the real question should be, what will our new normal be?

Financially, people are ruined, companies closed within a week, laid off workers in masses, are claiming they cannot afford to stay open. Many of the smaller companies may never be able to reopen and those that do will not be able to afford to bring back all of their laid off staff much less pay the wages they had been after taking such a huge financial hit. That’s the thing no one is talking about right? How many companies are going to just be gone, will people go back to the wages they had? The answer to that can be found in the aftermath of 2008.

People have been slowly rebuilding their lives since 08, we have rent, house payments, car payments, credit card debt, student loans, and all of the other payments that go along with being an adult who lives, works and contributes to society. Companies who provide all of those things need to also step up here and help the society who gave them our business. I am not saying that car loans and mortgages should not be paid, what I am saying is that payments should be forgiven now and tacked on at the end so that people can survive this crisis.

Utilities should not be shut off, cell phone providers should also allow a grace period. We as a society, we need to help each other, too. If anything this has taught us just how unprepared for a real human crisis we really are and how we need to bring manufacturing back to our own country, corporate owners must pay people livable wages to do that but it must be brought back so that we are not waiting on shipments of foods, medical devices and drugs because they are tied up at ports due to tariffs, wars, and utter bullshit. Our Government alone can and need to make that happen.

So this go around before the United States Government agrees to bail out big corporations, banks and airlines, they need to consider long term, it’s the workers here that actually need the the bailout, we are the ones that made those big companies and small companies what they were before Covid-19, we drove the profits they lived off of. Likewise, I hope WalMart takes a look at their employees who have been working their asses off, while being yelled at, told off and who keep going during this mess, and pay those individuals better. Treat them like human beings for once.

Until society gets some type of solid honest answers from our leaders, this swelling movement of anger that I am seeing on social media will get out of control. Cities and states who are just shutting down, that is not going to help calm the already fearful public. Sometimes local governments need to start looking at what is being talked about on social media. The vibe isn’t good and people are already talking about acts of crime, posting images of troops in cities that are from movies and telling people it’s happening in their cities, basically attempting to incite violence, that is how desperation works. That is what peple are feeling, hopelessness and desperation. On the flip-side of that, the United States Government needs to, it must take swift action against the mainstream media. Most of the layoffs and panic we saw last week, were a direct and clearly driven result of the utter and sometimes fantastic bullshit streaming from the mainstream media. I am not a huge fan of Donald Trump personally but he’s done a lot for this country, he sucks at public speaking we can all agree, when it is not in relation to business, the media has lowered the confidence the public felt in his economic plan to the point that if things get much worse, the public is going to deliver much worse.

Iran Leaders Vow Revenge for Death of Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani

Trump Starts World War 3?

Cristal M Clark

mq9-reaper-drone-crimeshop - Edited

If you missed what went down yesterday here is a recap;  Yesterday President Donald Trump ordered the U.S. drone strike that killed Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani, who the United States regarded as a war criminal responsible for hundreds of American deaths.

US -airstrike-kills- Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani-crimeshop

Both Republicans and Democrats agree that Soleimani is an enemy of the US, however the move left congress deeply divided as well as the vast majority of US citizens.

And as for Iran well, the leaders have vowed revenge leaving  cybersecurity and defense experts bracing for an Iranian cyber-offensive that could target online infrastructure across the US military and the private sector, Iran has a vast and dangerous cyber army that it’s been building for years.

Sam Curry, the chief security officer at Cybereason: “Iran is an intelligent cyber opponent with an army of people testing our systems every minute of every day. It is the ultimate game of cat and mouse.”

Although the US has also built up it’s cybersecurity and defenses, it is not where near what other countries have done by a long shot, meaning that Iran will most likely target our infrastructure which has left industry experts and insiders extremely worried because the US has only recently learned about how the Iranian cyber groups truly operate and that has left the US Government in a bit of a panic because as of this very moment, in terms of cyberwarfare Iran has the upper hand.

Air Force Gen. William Shelton predicted in 2013; “They are going to be a force to be reckoned with, with the potential capabilities that they will develop over the years and the potential threat that will represent to the United States.”

mq9-reaper-drone-crimeshop - Edited

Republicans celebrated what they described as Trump’s decisive action, Democrats criticized the president’s order to act unilaterally while expressing grave concern that this action would move the United States closer to an intractable war with Iran.

Sen. Chris Murphy D-Conn had this to say; “No matter how good it may feel that Qasem Soleimani is no longer alive, he likely will end up being more dangerous to the United States, our troops, and our allies, as a martyr than as a living, breathing military adversary.” And living on as a martyr is the magic word.

Sen. Murphy didn’t stop at that, he also included; “There will be reprisals, and Iran will likely target American troops and even our own political and military leaders. This is why the United States does not assassinate leaders of foreign nations, in the end such action risks getting more, not less, Americans killed in the long run.” He couldn’t be more spot on.

Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Robert Menendez;

“The question that has to be answered is what brought us to this moment. what’s the intelligence behind that? And what comes now?”

He went on to say;

”I fear that this administration used tactics but has no strategy in the long term … what we can’t accept is a march to an unauthorized war.”

Trump-War-With-Iran - Edited

All of that speculation aside, no one is quite sure what, how, or when Iran intends on striking back, the one thing we all know is that they will in fact attempt to extract revenge, the bigger question however is will that truly bring us closer to another war? Was it not Trump and his followers who once accused President Obama of attempting to start a war so that he would be able to remain in office?

Impeaching Donald Trump

Impeach-Trump-Crimeshop

To Impeach or Not to Impeach

Cristal M Clark

So here we are again, Trump has gone and done something really stupid again and the news is ablaze with the idea and talk of a renewed effort to finally impeach Trump.

donald-trump-drunk-af-crimeshop

Reports are circulating thanks to a whistleblower, that Trump in a July call pressured Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Why is this an issue you may be wondering? Well, during that time frame the US was in fact withholding aid to the Ukraine, and after that call, a very short time later, the sought after aid was given.

Meaning that if the whistleblowers account of what happened is true, Trump may be sailing perilously close to an open window, in his role he is not allowed to pressure another country to provide any information for personal gain, which he did.

Joseph Maguire-crimeshop

Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson determined that the allegations were credible and of “urgent concern,” yet congress has yet to see the official report against Trump. The acting DNI under Trump, Joseph Maguire, is not allowing the whistleblower’s report to be shared with Congress, regardless of the fact that Congress issued a subpoena for it.

WTF?!?!?

IS that a fucking joke? So let me get this straight, Trump really could walk down the street and murder someone and Congress wouldn’t be able to do shit about it?

Basically Joseph Maguire is saying something like “look, yes you have a smoking gun but, I am taking the stance that I want to bury my head in the sand and just pretend this isn’t serious so fuck you guys.”

Nancy-Pelosi-crimeshop

So Trumps camp just gave Congress and Pelosi the middle finger whilst also dropping trow and mooning them.

finger-congress-crimeshop

Kudos.

Legal experts say they have never heard of a DNI overruling an IG assessment to send a complaint to Congress either. Taking it a step further Legal experts on whistleblower complaints say Joseph Maguire is going too far.

Thank you Captain Obvious..

D.C.-based national security lawyer Mark Zaid, “We are seeing not just a politicization but a legalization of the whistleblower process that was never intended to exist. It was not intended that the system would be put under a microscope so that lawyers could derive any type of loophole interpretation, these are the type of cases that are supposed to be broadly interpreted.”

Again, no shit.

Does anyone remember Edward Snowden?

I do.

He made the choice not to use the US Government’s Whistleblower channels, this serves as a perfect example of why whistleblowers are better off going to the media rather than what the US Government insists are proper channels.

The President of the United States can do whatever he wants and Congress takes a back seat and throws their hands in the air and just says “Oh Well.”

No action is taken, nothing is done and to an individual with Trump’s mentality we reinforce this crappie behavior.

Thank you Congress for kicking every American right in the face by doing nothing but cry to the mainstream media.

2,556 people have been shot in Chicago

thecrimeshop-chicagoshootings2016

So far this year

Yes you read that right, 2,556 individuals have been shot in Chicago so far this year.

Out of that, 2,166 were shot and wounded, the other 390 individuals are dead.

Chicago crossed the 2,000 point back in June. The July 4th weekend started off with a bang, 62 wounded and 4 were killed.

On Monday of this week alone 9 were shot and killed while 13 others were wounded.

Police have stated over and over again the violence in Chicago is attributed to feuding gangs and sadly a lot of the violence is being brought about by the citizens of Chicago, not the police.

For the month of August alone, to date Chicago has had 137 shootings.

So while our Administration and the Black Lives Matter movement are calling for change because they seem to feel that police do not value “Black Lives,” they are ignoring the staggering amount of shootings in Chicago. Many of the victims by the way are not white.

Are we picking and choosing which Black Lives Matter or is it that the Black Lives in Chicago simply do not matter?

The President recently commented with regards to officer involved shootings of young black men “all Americans should be troubled…” He also said “To be concerned about these issues is not political correctness. It’s just being an American.”

Is Chicago no longer part of America because being an American, I am deeply concerned that our administration is turning a blind eye to the rising violence in Chicago.

Do Black Lives only matter if it’s a cop pulling the trigger?

or

Do Black Lives only matter when they can be labeled as racism or bias at the hands of white cops?

The impression that I am getting from Obama, Washington, Congress and the Black Lives Matter movement is that they are picking when and where black lives really matter and it’s not Chicago.

That translates pretty loudly to Black Lives Matter only if it’s a cop who pulled the trigger but not another black citizen, or gang member. And fuck Chicago.

The senseless crime committed against blacks in Chicago not to mention the loss of black lives in Chicago has been so blatantly ignored by the Black Lives Matter Movement as well as in Washington both by Congress and President Obama that it’s quite frankly, sickening.

Stop preaching about officer involved shootings of young black men while you sit back and watch them get killed every day in Chicago by individuals who aren’t cops.

Instead, take the time to help pull Chicago together again. You know the state that has encountered the 2,556 shootings this year…
