Creates New Utopia or is it a Dystopian Hellhole?

Cristal M Clark

In case anyone missed it, Facebook is rebranding, morphine or rather attempting to change its image here. Mark Zuckerburg announced Facebook is now Meta this past week. The announcement caused quite the stir among those in the know. You see Facebook wants to become a strange and bizarre product presentation introducing the so-called metaverse.

That translates to the new metaverse is a dream of a future internet that we have only seen in films such as Demolition Man. To make matters much worse it seems that no one really has a set definition of what Meta will look like as of yet, simply because it’s a concept still and far from a reality.

Facebook describes it as “a set of virtual spaces where you can create and explore with other people who aren’t in the same physical space as you.”

Mark Zuckerberg’s presentation showed a series of concept videos that highlighted Facebook’s Meta’s vision for a sort of augmented reality one where you can send a holographic image of yourself to a concert with a friend attending in real life, or sit at a virtual meeting table with colleagues.

This caused some very loud alarm bells to start ringing. First, is this an attempt by Facebook to dodge its current public nightmare of leaks accusing the company of failing on purpose to stop false information, protect teenage girls or maybe how Facebook exploits its users without consent?

Who knows really. If Facebook failed to stop the spread of misinformation on any of it’s platforms now, it’s a pretty certain bet that they will fail under the guise of Meta at stopping it, nor will they stop attempting to exploit users being more in favor of the almighty advertising dollar.

More pointedly, does any of that really matter? Users of any social media platform, online shoppers, gamblers, gamers, hell cell phone owners are blindly giving intel away as it is. We bleed out information anytime you shop online, play an online game, answer those ridiculous memes designed to obtain things like your mother’s maiden name, year you were born…

I get it, the government, media outlets want to protect us all right? They do right and they want to stop this Evil Mark Zuckerburg from doing what he does like exploit us, right?

Isn’t that what the news does every single time they interview witnesses to let’s say a bank robbery where someone was shot and killed? What’s more, have you ever looked through the actual sponsored content on your local news outlets website, or CNN’s, FoxNews? You know those flashy ads that read more like they are actual news or advice from a well known doctor? Those sponsored content ads are created to exploit anyone who clicks on them, are they not?

Anytime a major news anchor drops his or her personal, emotional and vile opinion into a news story, they taint the news, it becomes invalidated. Anytime a major network directs its reporters to be on one side or the other, it invalidates the news, by default. Anytime it runs unproven advertisements like they do when viewing the news online, they are exploiting the audience, filling them with false information too.

So major broadcasters get to sound the alarm bell over social media, hence they are saying “Hey Mark, this is our goose egg and what is good for the Goose is, not good for the Gander!”

Who really knows if Meta will work or not, how long it will take to get up and running or if society is even ready for that? Seeing everyone’s reaction to being locked down, I am not so sure it will work out at all.

Mayor Michael Hancock Issues Level 3 Stay at Home Order for Denver, Colorado

Is This About Controlling the People or Controlling the Virus? Hancock’s Mistake.

Cristal M Clark

All week I had planned to bring you Halloween related stories just for entertainment but you know the pandemic is technically a horror story of its own right?

Today Mayor Michael Hancock of Denver issued level 3 stay at home orders once again limiting outings, business capacity and shuttering some indoor activities leaving the citizens of Denver with the threat of shutting the city down again. I get it, his heart is in the right place, his head is a bit foggy though. I have lost friends to the virus, to depression due to job loss, lockdowns, drug overdoses due to the same recently so I get it but the virus is not the only thing killing people.

Naturally, this news caused an onslaught of anger, fear and emotional turmoil for many. I personally do not agree with restrictions in terms of limited capacities and forcing businesses to shut down. And I am so sick of seeing people take to social media with complete anger and without becoming educated and claim it’s about control not the virus.

First of all, think about that ridiculous statement. It is about control, idiots, it’s about controlling the spread of the virus not individuals. Sadly, when trying to control the virus we are seeing government overreach to the level of epic proportions. These leaders have yet to see how the effort to keep the virus at bay is affecting even industries they deem essential. The money for many is running out, spending will slow now just in time for the holiday season and even construction will slow and when that happens, the bottom is going to tank out. That is simple mathematics.

The control here is to keep hospitals from running at capacity, from keeping them from running out of beds. Which has yet to happen and is even less likely than back in March to happen today. We have better treatments and the young are driving the spikes. The young are more likely to survive. So what Mayor Hancock is trying to achieve is unnecessary. In fact keeping things shut down and limiting businesses from open at capcity is causing further damage to the economy. A damage that cannot be undone.

Shutting down and restrictions have not worked thus far, which I’ll get to in a bit. A lot of people sounded off on social media locally today claiming this is not legal, the mayor and governor cannot order shutdowns, we need to fight back, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Well, yes they can shut things down.

To prevent abuse, the power to make laws, enforce laws, and interpret laws are separated into three branches: the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. And the three in terms of the virus are for sure not on the same page at all.

This prevents, mayor’s, governors and even a president from simply doing what they want (like a king or dictator), even if they feel those actions are best for the people. They must do only those things which comply with the laws enacted by the legislature-as interpreted by judges. Interpretation is everything when it comes to upholding laws.

So upon declaring a state of emergency, a Governor and any other executive declaring an emergency will issue a series of executive orders invoking specific State legislative enactments. Those statutes pre-authorize the executive branch (which the Governor heads) to take certain, specific actions when the state is facing an emergency.

Most declarations of emergency pertain to snow storms or hurricanes, wildfires. In those instances, the State invoked more familiar provisions of the statutes governing declarations of emergency, including freeing up money earmarked for emergency use; calling on the national guard to help with the effects of the storm; and allowing the police to redirect traffic. But the Governor’s statutory powers during an emergency are broad, flexible, and include the ability to make such orders. . . as may be necessary adequately to meet the various problems presented by any emergency, including the designation of vehicles and persons permitted to move during an emergency, the conduct of the civilian population during the threat of and imminence of danger or any emergency, and on any matter that may be necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people.

Many States have moved to an Emergency Health Powers Act, which have provided additional authorization for control over medical facilities, the distributions of medical resources, and authority to identify areas that are or may be dangerous to the public health and to cause the movement of persons within that area to be restricted, if such action is reasonable and necessary to respond to the public health emergency. The states may require quarantine for persons who are unable or unwilling to undergo vaccination and for those who are sick.

For an added kick in the balls, the FMLA was changed to accommodate those who fall ill from the virus currently, doesn’t really matter the organizations size either.

So Yes, states, cities and municipalities can shut businesses down right now. And they can vaccinate you, quarantine you, and are immune from a lawsuit for doing any of those things.

Like it or not that is what it is, you can stomp your feet, throw tantrums, become outspoken on social media, this is what it is.

Now, all of that said, Mayor Hancock made a mistake here, first the threat of another shutdown, that is akin to political suicide and here is why-

Millions of people are still out of work, that threat is more or less a promise that they will continue to be out of work for the foreseeable future. For workers who have gone back to work, now they get to live in constant fear of losing their jobs, again which by the way lowers an individual’s ability to fight infection, fear causes worry, worry causes stress, which affects overall health.

The biggest reason this was a fatal mistake however goes back to those three branches of Government and it ends in the lap of a judge who thus far almost nationwide, have been unwilling to uphold punishment for anyone who goes against these local and state mandates.

Think about it, how many news stories are we seeing with regards to the virus and state or city mandates, where the cops try to enforce a mandate, a state agency tries to enforce a mandate and it ends with a Judge who is unwilling to punish the business or individual for whatever indiscretion.

So these three branches can’t bother to be on the same page let alone effectively enforce restrictions or mandates, why should the people follow these orders? Now I am not suggesting we go against what Mayor Hancock said today, I am posing a very serious question whilst also pointing out the flaw in issuing mandates.

Additionally, I saw Mayor Hancock’s not so kind words with regards to the Trump administration’s failure to get another stimulus put through before the election, yes I agree that was bullshit however, to Mayor Hancock, Governor Polis and any other state or local leader who might read this, get off of your little high horses because you all share in the blame here. I saw not one of you march your higher than thou happy asses up to Capital Hill and demand that rather than rush a hideous, religious zealot, who has no idea what being a woman is, and who wants to take us to the dystopian era into the supreme court and demand a stimulus deal be reached instead.

I did see a number of state and local leaders nationwide take to news outlets to bitch and whine about it, but you know as well as your voters going to the media doesn’t do shit for your people. You all failed on that one so do not just blame Trump and White House on this one. If enough of you would have grown the balls to get in his face as a collective team regardless of party, he would have sided with you hence with the people. Some of us do in fact pay very close attention to the details here so I would not assume anyone missed that.

Now, if we want to do the right thing by the people we must of course, educate on mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing (for some of you bathing in general), and we must isolate the vulnerable and the sick.

In addition to that we must open our economies and to do that our governments must work with the people and allow for less restrictions in terms of permits to have outdoor seating, here in Denver we have fantastic winters, if we shut down enough streets and parking lots these local businesses will figure out how to make it work. Businesses would actually help neighboring businesses by partnering up to make things work during the pandemic.

I think Mayor Hancock and other Mayors, our Governor and other states will find if you leave it to the people to figure out how to open at full or 75% capacity the majority will find ways to make it work and they will do it right. But to just force them to close or limit capacity to a point where it makes no sense to open, you are basically turning your backs on them. And that is what is causing the pandemic anger.

We will see less argument over mask wearing, group gatherings and the like if we left it open to businesses to find a way and remove restrictions like permits to have sidewalk seating, we need to start closing streets so as to allow businesses to open. These businesses will pay to get outdoor heaters and to have a thriving business back if we let them.

It all goes back to those three branches, you are pretty hard pressed to find a Judge to uphold your mandate these days. And I hate to say this but after reading hundreds of comments today after Mayor Hancock issued his updated mandates for the city of Denver, after conversing with many people and business owners, if we keep poking the bear here it’s not going to end well.

Pay attention to the people, they are becoming desperate, and angry, with the election, the racial tensions, police shootings, protests, the far left, the far right. All of it spells disaster and that will spill onto the streets and into every corner of this country in the form of civil unrest the likes no one has ever seen.

How many guns are legally in the hands of what were once responsible gun owners? I say “what were once” responsible because no matter which side you are on, once the shooting starts, well we will become the wild west again. Now add that to the amount of guns on the streets and in the hands of those who have them illegally. We are already seeing an increase in certain crimes all because of the pandemic.

It’s time to think before local and state officials react, it’s time to reflect on the damage those actions and mandates and orders are causing. IT is no longer a small sacrifice you are asking of us, we the people, you are destroying lives at a far higher rate than that of the virus. Every reaction by leaders is going to start to have an equal if not more powerful reaction from the people.

To Quote Mayor Hancock: “ This is not a game.”

Keep messing around with people’s ability to live, work, pay bills, own a business, own a home, own a car, buy food, keep messing with it state and local officials because my friends, “This is not a game,” that is one hell of an atomic bomb, and it it just so happens to be ticking.

America The Land of Dysfunctional

protesters-push-back-against-stay-at-home-orders-crimeshop

Coronavirus Exposes Just How Broken America Really Is

Cristal M Clark

The Coronavirus has exposed the many things here in America that we have learned to put up with and ignore just as we tend to do when in an unhealthy relationship. Our political system is corrupt, our economy is a train wreck and it has been for a number of years, as citizens we are just as divided as ever and full of hate and rage, and the leading health experts in this country cannot seem to agree.

pro-trump-protesters-push-back-against-stay-at-home-orders-crimeshop

Even as I write this tonight, some states are looking to re-open this week, going against the guidelines set forth from the president and his team, while other states have extended the stay at home orders. According to CNN over 60% of the population here in the US is uncomfortable opening states up too soon while over at FoxNews Tucker Carlson is suggesting that that science suggests we not stay inside.

Plague-Doctors-Terrifying-crimeshop

At least Trump is more calm during his press conferences these days but he needs to grow a pair. Agreeing and urging protesters to carry on is dangerous. Here in Denver, I know an individual who thought she had the virus, while waiting on her test results, she willingly went out to protest on Sunday possibly infecting others. While she did stay in her car, we know she in fact stuck her head out the window to yell and carry on like some deranged lunatic.

denver-colorado-protester-tells-nurse-move-to-china

Our economy has left many of us wondering what in the hell and has gotten us thinking about what we really want to do moving forward. The cost of living skyrocketed since 2008 and while people had jobs, wages did not keep in line with the actual cost of living. Our response to the virus was so dysfunctional and full of so much disinformation it wasn’t even funny not to mention, we still are unsure of just how many have been infected. We have business leaders, the president and citizens pushing to open up while we fail to look at our history in terms of rushing to get back to life as we know it and a virus.

Dr-Anthony-Fauci_Crimeshop

Not even our so-called experts can agree as to whether or not the virus will return in the coming months and should it then what?

America-the-Dysfunctional-crimeshop

The United States was not prepared for this at all. We have been unable to adapt to our unseen enemy and our inability to agree as a nation to fight it is a rather disgusting image quite honestly.

Covid-19_crimeshop - Edited

I know people who currently have the virus and while it is survivable for many, it is not survivable for all and because we do not have the testing needed so as to test everyone, it is dangerous to assume that it’s okay to go out and carry on as if the virus is not a danger. Anyone can have a weakened immune system and not know it, they do not deserve to be put into harm’s way, the elderly do not either. But until modern medicine can get a grasp on treating the virus or a proper vaccine can be made, the virus is here to stay and could mutate into something much worse.

Covid-19-protests-crimeshop

We fail at learning to adapt. Most of these hideous protesters fail to realize that things are not going back to normal. Most states are limited numbers of gatherings still, limiting the number of how many can be in any retail establishment at one time, including bars and restaurants, festivals, sporting events and concerts are a no go for the foreseeable future, and most offices have been asked by states to reduce the number of staff in the office by 50% for the foreseeable future. This has damaged our already teetering economy, millions will still be out of work for the foreseeable future and what if, let’s just say the virus continues to hit us hard and we face more shutdowns?

Covid-19-Coronavirus_crimeshop

We as a country and as a society need to find better ways of adapting, to an environment we cannot control. Businesses and owners need to adapt to less greed, because what we have seen out of most from this leaves a lot of us with a rather bad taste in our mouths. We need to adapt in our daily habits. The United States Government needs to take a hard look at mainstream media and the tactics they employ so as to inform the public, part of the reason this is going so very badly is because of the mainstream media. It’s time Donald to do something about that shit show.

We need to find a new way to survive as a country and a society, but first we need clear, concise, understandable information from all levels of our government and that includes the health experts.

DONALD TRUMP – Replace CNN With Worldwide U.S. Propaganda Network

Donald-Trump-takes-down-media-crimeshop

Donald Trump Attacks Cable News – Again

Another Monday, another attack on cable news by Trump.

cnn-CrimeShop

Trump again took to Twitter and had this to say:

“While CNN doesn’t do great in the United States based on ratings, outside of the U.S. they have very little competition. Throughout the world, CNN has a powerful voice portraying the United States in an unfair and false way, something has to be done, including the possibility of the United States starting our own Worldwide Network to show the World the way we really are, GREAT! ”

fox-news-crimeshop

I’m sorry but doesn’t the US already have a worldwide propaganda network, FoxNews?

mainstream-media-weapons-of-mass-deception-crimeshop

Not to mention that Trump is just tossing around completely false claims in that CNN’s ratings here in the US seem to be low.

They aren’t and while I feel they get carried away with every major news stories they air, they do have some pretty impressive ratings.

trump-takes-on-media-crimeshop

Of course this is not unlike past claims towards CNN, NBC, MSNBC notably, Trump never seems to knock his already existing propaganda network, FoxNews.

Earlier this month Trump’s ridiculous feud with CNN reached a high point when he and Jim Acosta got into it during a press conference where the two had an pretty heated exchange the day after Republicans were dealt big losses in the midterm elections.

first-amendment-crimeshop

The argument ended with Trump and CNN arguing over first amendment rights.

Yet, I have to sit back and look at the reality of the situation in all honesty here, Trump has a degree of a point.

technology-better-than-trumps-state-of-the-union-crimeshop

The actual truth is that every cable news giant is already a propaganda churning network as it is.

Really, sit back and watch every single one for a week.

propaganda-media-controls-us-crimeshop

Here you will find biased reporting all the way around, we have some that you will find filling every news report with either pro-Trump or anti-Trump one sided reporting, sexism, some networks are clearly still full of racism while others support Trump in attempting to stifle the growth that we have achieved for our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ communities.

The point being is that cable news does in fact abuse it’s first amendment rights because instead of actual reporting they are attempting to create fans through biased and not entirely truthful or factual reporting.

Every story is one sided with cable news these days.

Journalism-dead-crimeshop

Cable news, the mainstream media, they are far more responsible for creating some of the very major issues we face on a daily basis in the US.

They have by far, done way more damage than our President and Russian Meddling combined.

And because of that continual abuse, maybe the US should take a hardline against cable news and do away with it all together.

Fox News – No Moral or Ethical Compass

fake-fox-news-fake-news-crimeshop

Caught Reporting Completely Fabricated News Stories

I suppose that this surprised no one at all, Fox News has the reputation of being a Trump propaganda media outlet.

foxnews-crimeshop

Yet, not unlike some of the other mainstream media outlets, they report anything and everything just shy of actual real life factual news.

media-mainstream-crimeshop

Yes they speak about the recent uptick in violent left and right wing supporters, but then they more often than not careen way off script and just start giving us personal thoughts, opinions and conspiracy theories.

Which play a rather unarguable part in those to far left or right that are somewhat off and decide to do something, violent.

Words even those spoken or written by the press can carry with them deeply frightening consequences.

Russian meddling carries very little weight actually where opinions are concerned here in the US.

fox-news-fake-news-crimeshop.jpg

It seems to me that our very own media are the ones causing the most irrevocable harm by distributing and sharing disinformation that is so clearly designed to sway public opinion that is it sickening.

Social-Media-crimeshop.jpg

While those who have been responsible for recent threats and murder simply spread hate through social media.

gab-SHUTDOWN-crimeshop

Causing one site, Gab ai to be promptly shut down. I actually am part of that site, I use it on a personal level to better track how certain headlines inspire hate rhetoric in the US. Something law enforcement should have been doing a better job of for quite some time. But that is another matter entirely.

migrant-caravan-crimeshop

Fox News while speaking of the migrant caravan heading towards the US, mislead viewers by mentioning that those in the caravan might spread disease once in the US.

Information that is completely unverified by the way.

So do I get ready for the zombie apocalypse finally or…do I buy a gun, start shooting any and every migrant I come across?

Between Fox News, CNN, Morning Joe, I don’t know whether to feed an immigrant or get ready for a war with them.

You see how people can take such misinformation and apply it to frame of mind that can become dangerous?

Prior to this, all we heard was that within the caravan are dangerous Mexican cartel and gang members, terrorists and the like seeking to gain entrance into the US in an effort to rape, plunder and pillage innocent US citizens.

While other news outlets left viewers believing the caravan contains innocent mothers and children.

Words are more powerful than most would think if our own media outlets cannot respect that, they should not be licensed to present the news at all.

obama-flips-bird-to-fox-news-crimeshop

The media’s job and I have this before is not to sway public opinion but to deliver the news in a moral and ethical manner. To report fairly and not support one side over the other. It is is to report impartially.

Something the folks at CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and a handful of others have long forgotten.

Who bloody cares what Trump and his goon squad say, the media has a moral and ethical obligation to refrain from following suit and finally get back to fair and impartial reporting with facts and not misinformation.

“You are finished, @GOP. You polished the final nail for your own coffins. F*CK. YOU. ALL. TO. HELL.”

Dave finished with:

It is refreshing to see absolute honesty and someone with some balls who just said what he thought.

A sentiment many of the rest of us here feel Dave, no worries we have your back on this one.

Not to mention, Google seems to be pretty okay with Dave’s personal feelings with regards to Brett Kavanaugh and the GOP telling FoxNews “What employees say in their personal capacity has no bearing on the way we build or operate our products.”

Monstrous Hurricane Michael

hurricane-michael-crimeshop

Heads to Florida?

What happened the last time no one listened to the news with regards to a potentially catastrophic hurricane?

huricaneflorence-crimeshop

That’s right, people died.

Florence.

But it was nowhere like Katrina.

hurricane-katrina-crimeshop

It’s not funny but, CNN had a reporter go on air and say something like they knew we were all tired of of the media hype of the hurricane but without that, more people would have perished?

And, I know not everyone is a weather person but, if you look at the shape, size and wind prejectory of Katrina, to Florence to Michael, you can tell which one would be more catastrophic. You can see it in the damn pictures of each hurricane for God’s sake.

The CNN reporter went on to inform everyone that we need that, we need them.

facebook-kids-messenger-crimeshop

Incorrect, given the local media telling people to leave, the parishes, the municipalities and governments, the same number of individuals would have perished.

Hence, we do not need CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, Etc.

Because of our ability to be more mobile we no longer need media in an effort to evacuate.

mainstream-media-dying-crimeshop.jpeg

The science of the media trying to tell us that we need them is like a cigarette trying to convince one to not quit.

I used to be a smoker and gave it up, just like the media.

People know the risks, they also know they stand a better chance of actually getting a home paid for by insurance if they can make it on camera, where the world can see them suffer.

We did see that the last hurricane right? A weatherman was pretending to withstand hurricane force winds while townspeople behind him casually walked by…I did see that headline.

The media is crediting itself before something happens these days.

Enough is enough.

We get it, another hurricane is approaching. Everyone run, run now and make a scene on your way out so that CNN can capture that on tape.

Here is the deal, I have actually been in Florida during hurricane season. Floridians would be aghast if they saw what you are telling us out here in Colorado about the approaching hurricane, the media is creating a death sentence. Already!

Floridians are used to this, they have it. Let it go. It’s like the media reporting a blizzard in Colorado, the power is out, people are suffering.

Umm no, we are not.

Idiots.

Stop trying so hard to sell a story and try for once to tell a story without an agenda.

That is something our mainstream media here in the US, they just simply cannot do.

Trump Hit – Sustains Black Eye

trump-vs-mainstream-media-Crime_Shop

By Mainstream Media

You know the mainstream media says this every day, especially CNN, “Donald Trump takes to twitter to talk about things that don’t matter in an effort to hide the things that do matter.”

mainstream_media_crimeshop

Sorry mainstream media, that is hands down what you are doing here.

A soldier killed in action matters, Trump’s response to it, it doesn’t matter as long as he actually made the effort.

He sucks at words, we all know this.

For an entire 24 hour period I have seen nothing but stories and even some I am pretty sure were not entire truths reported by the mainstream media with regards to Trump’s lack of empathy.

kim-jong-un survives-US assassination-plot-crimeshop

Excuse me, but could I get a show of hands of those that thought he actually had just one tiny ounce of empathy in his body? Anyone???

Trump according to many news outlets was a complete letdown in a phone call to offer condolences to the widow of a slain soldier which has since then, exploded into a sad display that swamped the White House on Wednesday, that ended in the soldier’s grieving mother accusing the president of disrespecting her family and a defiant Mr. Trump complaining that his words had been cynically twisted for political purposes.

Here’s a message to anyone who is getting a tweet, call or letter from Trump, do you bother to read his tweets, he is not eloquent and he is not empathetic.

Period and end of story.

I admit I do not write about too many cold cases that I look at these days but every cop, military member, special agent, that I have spoken to, when asked about getting killed in the line of duty informs me rather proudly, “this is part of the job, it’s what I signed up for.”

President Trump Hosts Ceremony Recognizing First Responders In The June 14 Congressional Baseball Shooting

Trump is basically repeating what he has been told I am sure countless times.

mainstream-media-crimeshop

To the media who is making this into a mountain, STFU already and report news, actual news, not your bloody opinionated, one sided story, but some actual news.

If I am not mistaken, the United States is an entire country, other things are happening here that warrant some attention.

And by the way, this is the very same thing that the Russian’s accomplished with the fake news, the overhyped sensationalism of stories, the fake social media accounts.

Swaying public opinion.

They without a doubt whatsoever learned it from us, our media who has to get every little detail, sensationalize every little story, they learned from us.

In fact this is just like walking up and recording a police beat down without the benefit of having the back story and running with it and suddenly reporting a story about police brutality.

This is bias reporting.

Nice.

As for Trump, I actually support you if you shut down the mainstream media here, I watch it every single day and quite frankly it’s not news, it’s utterly sickening.

Report the news, not opinions, not experts that simply report what they think, because I can do that and a much better job of it, try sticking to reporting just the news.

I am actually quite skilled at forming my own opinion here.

CNN, WAPO, even FoxNews at times, should be labeled opinion pieces and not news.

At the end of the day if you actually watch the news they really reported on vs. opinionated story headlines, they are opinion broadcasts and not actual news.

They do what I do, only not quite as well because I call it exactly how I see it and right now I am seeing Trump’s point to calling them fake news broadcasters.

He is right.

A tag line the news often says, is that they are “reporting news that affects me.”

us-election-russia-hack-crimeshop

My message back is that you are not, you are trying to sway my opinion just like Russia is accused of doing.

How can we support imposing sanctions upon Russia for attempting to sway public opinion when we sit back and allow our own media to take an actual newsworthy report and turn it into a circus just to sway public opinion?

Stop Sensationalizing!

Talk about double standards.

This weekend has not been kind to Donald Trump as far as the media is concerned.

New York Daily News: “As American citizen drink from streams and stand in lines for ice, gas and food, President Trump says ‘they want everything to be done for them.’ Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Response? ‘You’re going straight to hell.’”

CNN: “Trump sent 18 tweets on Puerto Rico on Saturday. And Made things a whole lot worse.”

The Associated Press: “Trump dismisses ingrates who’ve questioned his administration’s commitment to rebuilding Puerto Rico”

The Hill: “Trump dedicates golf trophy to hurricane victims as millions struggle in Puerto Rico.”

USA: Trump slams fake news and politically motivated ingrates for criticizing Puerto Rico aid efforts.”

CNN: Trump’s whiplash weekend heightens questions over leadership.”

The Washington Post: “Trump attacks mayor of San Juan, ratcheting up tensions over crisis in Puerto Rico.”

CNN: “Donald Trump’s last 7 days are just mind-bogglingly bad.”

The list of news headlines and stories bashing Trump over this past weekend is both vast and long.

Donald Trump is definitely taking a beating, and it’s not looking very good or could it simply be nothing more than just another painted picture?

I pose this question because on Friday as I watched CNN live and what I a witnessed was not the headlines CNN is attempting to sell it’s public.

So on Friday morning as I was getting in that 4am workout, sipping coffee and GO FAST, I watched CNN do something along the lines of Russian election interference fashion.

During the newscast, CNN played an interview from Thursday where acting Homeland Security Secretary Elaine Duke told reporters she was “very satisfied” with the federal response since Maria made landfall, calling it a “good news story.”

Then cut to commercial and once back a live interview with Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz of San Juan where the CNN news anchor informed Carmen about what Elaine Duke said, in particular about the federal response being a “good news story.”

Carmen became quite upset at hearing this, as one could imagine. I would be if I had been told what Elaine had said in the same context that the anchor informed Carmen about it.

CNN did take what Elaine said out of context in a very clear effort to stir the pot and get people pissed at Trump and his administration. They sold Carmen part of the story without ever touching on the stories entirety.

It was rather vulgar and disgusting.

While I am not Trump’s biggest fan, I am also not a fan of all of these reports about Russia stirring the race pot, or all of the other pots, with fake news, fake social media ad’s and accounts simply because you can turn on the evening news and watch that same behavior coming from the inside.

Our very own mainstream media organizations incite and inspire hate, loathing, and more division than Russia ever could have or did during the 2016 Presidential Election.

Trump has every right to be angry with the mainstream media after this past weekend, while he is an absurd little man who sometimes behaves and acts much like a half wit, the media if it were about real news would man up and show some class, at the very least rather than woefully and purposefully go out of it’s way to cause individuals to become angry with Trump and his administration.

And everyone keeps wondering just how Russia got its ammunition.
