Donald Trump – Of Course Iran Didn’t Arrest 17 US Spies

Donald Trump The All Knowing

According to Donald Trump, Iran’s claim that it has captured 17 people spying for the U.S. is “totally false.” On Monday, a senior Iranian intelligence officer told reporters in Tehran that Iran has detained CIA-trained Iranian nationals who were attempting to gather information on the country’s military and nuclear capabilities.

“The rulings for these spies have been issued and a number of them will be executed as corruptors on Earth,” said the intelligence officer, who was not identified. Iran’s semiofficial news agency Fars describes him as the director-general of the intelligence ministry’s counterespionage department.

Of course, Trump had to say something on the matter in usual fashion, through Twitter.

“The Report of Iran capturing CIA spies is totally false. Zero truth. Just more lies and propaganda (like their shot down drone) put out by a Religious Regime that is Badly Failing and has no idea what to do, their Economy is dead, and will get much worse. Iran is a total mess!”

According to Iran, the U.S. recruited spies at scientific conferences around the world, then made promises that included money, a job in the U.S. or medical aid. The Iranian nationals would allegedly be tasked with collecting information for the U.S. Which, makes total sense.

What’s more is how in the bloody hell would Trump know anything with regards to this matter, he barely gives any credit to nor pays much attention when his own intelligence community offers up any intel, on any matter. Then you have the obvious question, why would the intelligence community even inform Donald Trump of any spies they might have recruited from Iran given Trump’s tenacious ability to inform world leaders of US intel.

U.S. tensions with Iran have been escalating in the wake of the U.S. pulling out of the international agreement to try to stem Iran’s nuclear ambitions, which the US is failing at, rather horribly. We also recently ramped up sanctions against Iran. On Thursday, it said one of its Navy ships took down an Iranian drone but, according to Iran that intel is not entirely accurate.

Trump’s rather ill thought out tweet yesterday further shows his reluctance to either work with or hammer down on Iran. So far, Iran is winning the war of words.

Iran Nuclear Deal Ending – and it Could Spell Disaster for America

Donald Trump vs the Iran Nuclear Deal

iran-nuclear-deal

The Iran Nuclear deal was signed by President Barack Obama, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China, back in 2015 it happens to lift international sanctions that were placed on Iran in return for a long-term suspension of its nuclear development program.

It is expected that Trump will announce this week not to certify the deal. According to analysts, if Trump does in fact elect to back out of the agreement it very well could derail billions of dollars in Western investment heading toward Iran and trigger European economic retaliation against U.S. businesses, which would include sanctions imposed upon the US.

Of course backing out of the deal would not be immediate because congress would have 60 days to reimpose sanctions however, analysts say that is pretty unlikely, so Trump’s decision would be left at that.

Trump does call the deal one of the worst deals ever made, and I am not sure I would argue with him on that front, however now is not the time to piss aimlessly into the wind here.

Europe has enjoyed trade with Iran since the agreement has been signed, it has proven fruitful for European countries. And take note of who it has been fruitful for, it has not been the US, so I can honestly see Trump’s point here.

All of that said, we’ve already addressed the potential sanction issue, we could also be faced with an even larger North Korean issue should we back out of the deal.

Ending the deal very well could upset any of our actual allies and it will for sure without a doubt whatsoever upset Iran, who may in turn just decide to crawl into bed with Kim Jong-Un and start planning that long sought after wedding, with kids later down the road.

And…what if Russia wants to make that twosome a threesome…

So then we would be faced with not only an even bigger nuclear weapon issue,  potentially arming North Korea, we are also faced with one of the biggest cyberwar superpowers in the world potentially sleeping with North Korea.

Iran in case anyone has forgotten just so happens to have a cyber army that is a force to be reckoned with. These guys do not mess around, they don’t play at childish hacking attempts, they know exactly what they are doing and just how to do it.

The US to date couldn’t touch these guys if they wanted to.

Do we really want that whole mess right now?

It’s fair to look at it, it’s fair to say that the agreement sucks for America, I get that, but scratching it is not the right move as of today.

One of Trump’s biggest achilles heels is that in part he wants to treat the US presidency as a business, his business. You cannot necessarily do that without alienating the entire world from your country.

This actually should be an exercise Donald Trump understands. I see this all of the time at work.

A large part of my job is centered around hiring people, inevitably every time I hire someone the first move they try to make is come in like wrecking ball and change everything.

That move is the last move anyone wants to make, while changing the front end takes care of some issues, it may end up creating larger potentially more dangerous issues on the back end.

Time, well rounded knowledge of each and every move you make, learning a product i.e. America, the world, how your decision affects others, respect (earned that is, having the title of President of the United States, does not just grant you that, from anyone), dignity, the ability to be a humble leader who looked at an agreement and does not feel that it is of a benefit to the US so it might warrant an ending or even better, a change, one that would be more of a benefit to the US is the way to go about the Iran nuclear deal.

In time, again, now is not that time.

Coming in like a bull in a china shop pissing itself whilst breaking all of that fine China is a poor excuse to end the Iran Nuclear Deal.

Time, Donald Trump is of the utmost essence here, do not, screw that up just yet.
