Courts Tire of Trump’s False Election Fraud Claims

Trump Readies to Commit Treason on His Way Out

Cristal M Clark

One thing we know about Donald Trump, hands down is that he is a narcissist, and when a narcissist is losing control, they will do anything in an attempt to exact both revenge and to attempt to try to manipulate and control the outcome. Trump removed senior defense officials and installed his dick sucking loyalists, which of course triggered alarm at Pentagon but also got the attention of those that seek to profit off of Donald Trump’s betrayal of the United States. Much like Putin has been able to garner, a little something I am more than sure I should not have to remind anyone of. This time however Trump’s move is outright and in our faces only an idiot would not see what he is attempting to do on his way out and that is one act of treason, treachery, the ultimate fuck you to the United States and her citizens.

The point is, Donald J Trump would do anything to keep any shred of power that he can and if not he will sell us out to those that seek to cause harm to this great nation.

For those at the pentagon, I would be wary of the damage this man is hell bent on causing. As for the courts, well word on the streets is that they are tiring of Trump and his ridiculous claims of voter fraud, which have come with absolutely no proof whatsoever other than Trump and his following behaving like spoilt children who have not gotten their bloody way.

Of course Trump’s refusal to acknowledge the outcome of the election also throws the nation into further peril from the Pandemic, in case no one caught this, the US has hit over a million cases of Covid-19 but perhaps what is even more treasonist is that because Trump is refusing to concede and continues to challenge the outcome, it also delays turnover of the presidency, which includes important vital data with regards to the Pandemic, he is setting Bidens team up to walk in blind. Which of course can be avoided should let’s say those in the know just start to turn over intel to the incoming president and his team, what is Trump going to do besides whine and have a Twitter meltdown?

The fact that both Congress and the Senate want us to believe the nation is helpless to stop Trump from his wrong doing is well inaccurate, Trump has been breaking all of the bloody rules that he can for the last 4 years, this nation at the very least deserves to start off the next presidency without the hypocrisy, the nightmare or the mess of the last 4 years, it’s time to break some of those rules and see to it that the Biden administration is starting to see intel, on everything, Fuck Trump.

More people will die if Trump does not coordinate with Biden those are facts.

Denver Colorado Adding More Covid-19 Restrictions

Mayor Hancock Makes Another Mistake

Cristal M Clark

Again today, the city of Denver has added more restrictions in its fight against the spread of Covid-19, which would make sense if you did not have to worry about neighboring communities, I mean unless the entire state is on the same page, you are really not doing much to prevent anything.

Mayor Hancock is basically telling us that if you are resident or a nonessential business, you need to close by 10 and be home by 10PM.

At any rate, I get what he is attempting to do, but here is another erroneous mistake.

It’s the “Home By 10” order.

  • Liquor stores will be required to close at 10 p.m.
  • People will need to be home from restaurants by 10 p.m.
  • Order does not extend to essential businesses like grocery stores, pharmacies and hospitals.

Local new station “FOX31 learned before Hancock’s announcement that protesters will still be allowed to gather. They will be required to wear a mask and be socially distanced.”

Wait, what? Is that for real?

Well apparently, it is in fact for real. Protesters don’t have to head home at 10PM so long as they socially distance and wear a face covering, which by the way they are more than happy to do when they start to riot, shoot at each other, loot and burn shit down as it tends to hides one’s identity.

The reality is simple, no peaceful protest has ever really accomplished anything by protesting after dark. Think about it. The rioters, looters, shooters, pyromaniacs and anarchists tend to come out at night, with the exception of the Trump supporters and his unlawful militia groups and white nationalist hate groups.

A better move for Denver or any city to make would be to limit the days and hours that demonstrations can legally take place during this time of the pandemic. Not to thwart the pandemic but to keep the violence, burning of businesses down and looting to a minimum since demonstrators will be required to wear face coverings. It makes no sense to order a restaurant closed by 10 or a liquor stores closed by 10 and yet still allow demonstrations to continue well into the night. Make demonstrators abide by restrictions as well, demonstrate at designated hours in designated areas, i.e. no marching through the streets and blocking traffic, it’s not a fucking parade.

While we are at it here, a couple of weeks ago we cut back capacity in offices, markets, retail shops, gyms, guess what they have done to abide by that? Not a fucking thing.

I went into a WalMart last weekend, just to see, nope they are no longer counting the number of shoppers let into the store much less employees wearing face coverings correctly, Target either for that matter, nor is King Soopers, Safeway or any other market.
In fact, its beginning to look a lot like these restrictions are just being ignored, blatantly ignored by big retail.

We’ve already severed the arty of the restaurant, bar and entertainment industries, let’s do our best to stop the bleeding by taking it a step further and making sure no looting and rioting take place here, it’s time to limit demonstrations, protests and the like for the time being.

Mayor Michael Hancock Issues Level 3 Stay at Home Order for Denver, Colorado

Is This About Controlling the People or Controlling the Virus? Hancock’s Mistake.

Cristal M Clark

All week I had planned to bring you Halloween related stories just for entertainment but you know the pandemic is technically a horror story of its own right?

Today Mayor Michael Hancock of Denver issued level 3 stay at home orders once again limiting outings, business capacity and shuttering some indoor activities leaving the citizens of Denver with the threat of shutting the city down again. I get it, his heart is in the right place, his head is a bit foggy though. I have lost friends to the virus, to depression due to job loss, lockdowns, drug overdoses due to the same recently so I get it but the virus is not the only thing killing people.

Naturally, this news caused an onslaught of anger, fear and emotional turmoil for many. I personally do not agree with restrictions in terms of limited capacities and forcing businesses to shut down. And I am so sick of seeing people take to social media with complete anger and without becoming educated and claim it’s about control not the virus.

First of all, think about that ridiculous statement. It is about control, idiots, it’s about controlling the spread of the virus not individuals. Sadly, when trying to control the virus we are seeing government overreach to the level of epic proportions. These leaders have yet to see how the effort to keep the virus at bay is affecting even industries they deem essential. The money for many is running out, spending will slow now just in time for the holiday season and even construction will slow and when that happens, the bottom is going to tank out. That is simple mathematics.

The control here is to keep hospitals from running at capacity, from keeping them from running out of beds. Which has yet to happen and is even less likely than back in March to happen today. We have better treatments and the young are driving the spikes. The young are more likely to survive. So what Mayor Hancock is trying to achieve is unnecessary. In fact keeping things shut down and limiting businesses from open at capcity is causing further damage to the economy. A damage that cannot be undone.

Shutting down and restrictions have not worked thus far, which I’ll get to in a bit. A lot of people sounded off on social media locally today claiming this is not legal, the mayor and governor cannot order shutdowns, we need to fight back, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Well, yes they can shut things down.

To prevent abuse, the power to make laws, enforce laws, and interpret laws are separated into three branches: the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. And the three in terms of the virus are for sure not on the same page at all.

This prevents, mayor’s, governors and even a president from simply doing what they want (like a king or dictator), even if they feel those actions are best for the people. They must do only those things which comply with the laws enacted by the legislature-as interpreted by judges. Interpretation is everything when it comes to upholding laws.

So upon declaring a state of emergency, a Governor and any other executive declaring an emergency will issue a series of executive orders invoking specific State legislative enactments. Those statutes pre-authorize the executive branch (which the Governor heads) to take certain, specific actions when the state is facing an emergency.

Most declarations of emergency pertain to snow storms or hurricanes, wildfires. In those instances, the State invoked more familiar provisions of the statutes governing declarations of emergency, including freeing up money earmarked for emergency use; calling on the national guard to help with the effects of the storm; and allowing the police to redirect traffic. But the Governor’s statutory powers during an emergency are broad, flexible, and include the ability to make such orders. . . as may be necessary adequately to meet the various problems presented by any emergency, including the designation of vehicles and persons permitted to move during an emergency, the conduct of the civilian population during the threat of and imminence of danger or any emergency, and on any matter that may be necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people.

Many States have moved to an Emergency Health Powers Act, which have provided additional authorization for control over medical facilities, the distributions of medical resources, and authority to identify areas that are or may be dangerous to the public health and to cause the movement of persons within that area to be restricted, if such action is reasonable and necessary to respond to the public health emergency. The states may require quarantine for persons who are unable or unwilling to undergo vaccination and for those who are sick.

For an added kick in the balls, the FMLA was changed to accommodate those who fall ill from the virus currently, doesn’t really matter the organizations size either.

So Yes, states, cities and municipalities can shut businesses down right now. And they can vaccinate you, quarantine you, and are immune from a lawsuit for doing any of those things.

Like it or not that is what it is, you can stomp your feet, throw tantrums, become outspoken on social media, this is what it is.

Now, all of that said, Mayor Hancock made a mistake here, first the threat of another shutdown, that is akin to political suicide and here is why-

Millions of people are still out of work, that threat is more or less a promise that they will continue to be out of work for the foreseeable future. For workers who have gone back to work, now they get to live in constant fear of losing their jobs, again which by the way lowers an individual’s ability to fight infection, fear causes worry, worry causes stress, which affects overall health.

The biggest reason this was a fatal mistake however goes back to those three branches of Government and it ends in the lap of a judge who thus far almost nationwide, have been unwilling to uphold punishment for anyone who goes against these local and state mandates.

Think about it, how many news stories are we seeing with regards to the virus and state or city mandates, where the cops try to enforce a mandate, a state agency tries to enforce a mandate and it ends with a Judge who is unwilling to punish the business or individual for whatever indiscretion.

So these three branches can’t bother to be on the same page let alone effectively enforce restrictions or mandates, why should the people follow these orders? Now I am not suggesting we go against what Mayor Hancock said today, I am posing a very serious question whilst also pointing out the flaw in issuing mandates.

Additionally, I saw Mayor Hancock’s not so kind words with regards to the Trump administration’s failure to get another stimulus put through before the election, yes I agree that was bullshit however, to Mayor Hancock, Governor Polis and any other state or local leader who might read this, get off of your little high horses because you all share in the blame here. I saw not one of you march your higher than thou happy asses up to Capital Hill and demand that rather than rush a hideous, religious zealot, who has no idea what being a woman is, and who wants to take us to the dystopian era into the supreme court and demand a stimulus deal be reached instead.

I did see a number of state and local leaders nationwide take to news outlets to bitch and whine about it, but you know as well as your voters going to the media doesn’t do shit for your people. You all failed on that one so do not just blame Trump and White House on this one. If enough of you would have grown the balls to get in his face as a collective team regardless of party, he would have sided with you hence with the people. Some of us do in fact pay very close attention to the details here so I would not assume anyone missed that.

Now, if we want to do the right thing by the people we must of course, educate on mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing (for some of you bathing in general), and we must isolate the vulnerable and the sick.

In addition to that we must open our economies and to do that our governments must work with the people and allow for less restrictions in terms of permits to have outdoor seating, here in Denver we have fantastic winters, if we shut down enough streets and parking lots these local businesses will figure out how to make it work. Businesses would actually help neighboring businesses by partnering up to make things work during the pandemic.

I think Mayor Hancock and other Mayors, our Governor and other states will find if you leave it to the people to figure out how to open at full or 75% capacity the majority will find ways to make it work and they will do it right. But to just force them to close or limit capacity to a point where it makes no sense to open, you are basically turning your backs on them. And that is what is causing the pandemic anger.

We will see less argument over mask wearing, group gatherings and the like if we left it open to businesses to find a way and remove restrictions like permits to have sidewalk seating, we need to start closing streets so as to allow businesses to open. These businesses will pay to get outdoor heaters and to have a thriving business back if we let them.

It all goes back to those three branches, you are pretty hard pressed to find a Judge to uphold your mandate these days. And I hate to say this but after reading hundreds of comments today after Mayor Hancock issued his updated mandates for the city of Denver, after conversing with many people and business owners, if we keep poking the bear here it’s not going to end well.

Pay attention to the people, they are becoming desperate, and angry, with the election, the racial tensions, police shootings, protests, the far left, the far right. All of it spells disaster and that will spill onto the streets and into every corner of this country in the form of civil unrest the likes no one has ever seen.

How many guns are legally in the hands of what were once responsible gun owners? I say “what were once” responsible because no matter which side you are on, once the shooting starts, well we will become the wild west again. Now add that to the amount of guns on the streets and in the hands of those who have them illegally. We are already seeing an increase in certain crimes all because of the pandemic.

It’s time to think before local and state officials react, it’s time to reflect on the damage those actions and mandates and orders are causing. IT is no longer a small sacrifice you are asking of us, we the people, you are destroying lives at a far higher rate than that of the virus. Every reaction by leaders is going to start to have an equal if not more powerful reaction from the people.

To Quote Mayor Hancock: “ This is not a game.”

Keep messing around with people’s ability to live, work, pay bills, own a business, own a home, own a car, buy food, keep messing with it state and local officials because my friends, “This is not a game,” that is one hell of an atomic bomb, and it it just so happens to be ticking.

CoPIRG & Other Organizations Need to Stop Suggesting Slowing the Economy

Number of Covid-19 Cases Increase

Cristal M Clark

Was reading an interesting article today here in Denver where CoPRIG, Colorado Public Interest Research Foundation is asking the state to shut down bars and restaurants, in fact they are asking all businesses that are not considered essential to be closed for now, limit travel, enforce face mask orders etc.

Look, I get it seeing the number of cases on the rise is a concern however, at some point we need to each be responsible for our own health and behavior, governments should not ever at any time have so much power even in a time of a pandemic to shut down states, municipalities or a nation, by doing that we shut down our precious economy. We are already seeing a record number of bars, restaurants and small businesses across the state and our nation, close for good because they cannot continue to sustain operating at limited capacity or pay bills when they have never been able to open back up in the first place.

I keep hearing we need more testing as well. Agreed, but here are the facts: we don’t have it and we are not going to have it anytime soon so get over it and start to educate the public. We can throw stones at leaders all day long for mishandling how we responded to the pandemic, that still will not get us anywhere at all. We must educate the public, even Trump’s supporters until they get it and from my understanding many of his supporters who became infected at one point or another spend quite a bit of their own personal time educating people to wear face masks, socially distance and isolate the vulnerable. Rather than shut shit down, tell the elderly and the vulnerable that they must stay home and to only go out for essentials and at only designated times so as to decrease their chance of interaction with the general public.

The fact is, we missed step number 1 and we keep missing it, education and then isolating the vulnerable and sick. What we should not be doing is shutting things down and ensuring more of our population is put out of work for the long term, and how many more businesses need to close for good?

Again, I get it but rather than force businesses to lay off employees and then close, or enforce restrictions that so strictly limit a businesses capability from actually being able to be open and operate, enforce things like wearing face masks, and cite people who are not wearing them and businesses for not enforcing the rules. That is what governments do, not shut things down, that gives them too much power.

I also get the argument that people are becoming fatigued, we are and yes I become upset at others when they try to argue reasons for not wearing a face mask. It is pure both utterly stupid and shelfish behavior but our governments need to be stepping up and enforcing the orders and that includes fining businesses and people who do not wear or enforce wearing face masks.

Listening to science means that we educate and then enforce the science to a reasonable extent.

Groups like CoPRIG need to stop suggesting things that do not work, did they ever really work in the first place? No they did not look at our numbers now. Sure we had no national plan but we are also not seeing much of a state or local plan, all we see are a bunch of so called leaders pointing fingers and making threats.

What about just issuing a city or statewide mask wearing order and then enforcing that order? Instead what we see are suggestions like those from CoPRIG that shut things down again, fuck up our economy and put more people out of work. Part of the reason people are fatigued is because we fucked up the economy, try it again and I would venture to guess you will see an even higher number of rebelling. When you scare people with things like shutting down, they fear job loss, or of not finding a new job since they already lost a job, they react and not in good ways.

The solution is to educate and then enforce at the very least mask wearing and then addressing the issues surrounding the ederly. Stores need to make home delivery of essentials easier for the elderly to accomplish, but again you can’t really tell a US citizen that they cannot leave their home unless you declare martial law.

So educate and enforce, it’s that simple. If some jackass wants to argue wearing a face mask, they can shop online, not in stores, and enforce that to the fullest extent and stop shutting things down.

That is what people are fatigued about, the restrictions, the shutting everything down, the threat of another shut down. We failed at the two things we should have been doing, education and enforcing what we just educated everyone to be doing.

Donald Trump – ‘Anti-Maskers-Aren’t True Americans’

No War Was Ever Fought for American Rights, Liberties or Freedoms – Except for One

Cristal M Clark

Show of hands, who is sick and tired of anti-maskers, anti-social distancers utilizing some bullshit excuse such as but not limited to, “my rights, my freedom, my civil liberties?”

I have to wonder just how uneducated people are? Most of those fighting and mouthing off are my age, not younger adults. The Younger adults are just working off of misinformation with regards to the virus and how dangerous it really is. And I am forgiving of the younger generations on this one, look at all of the older generations setting such shining examples of what it is to be a true american.

So let me break down a list of major wars for everyone:

The United States declared war on Britain in 1812. It did so because Britain refused to stop seizing American ships that traded with France—Britain’s enemy in Europe. Sometimes there were also seizures of American sailors. These seizures were known as impressment. Not for US rights, liberties or freedoms.

The U.S. entered World War I because Germany embarked on a deadly gamble. Germany sank many American merchant ships around the British Isles which prompted the American entry into the war. Not for US rights, liberties or freedoms.

World War LL – The war began with Nazi Germany’s attack on Poland in September 1939, the United States did not enter the war until after the Japanese bombed the American fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. Not for US rights, liberties or freedoms.

The Vietnam War. The USA became involved in Vietnam because it feared the spread of communism. The USA were unable to defeat the Vietcong and were met with growing opposition to the war back home. Not for US rights, liberties or freedoms.

In August 1990, Iraq invaded the country of Kuwait to its southeast in a bid to gain more control over the lucrative oil supply of the Middle East. In response, the United States and the UN Security Council demanded that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein withdraw Iraqi troops from Kuwait, but Hussein refused. Not for US rights, liberties or freedoms.

The United States invasion of Afghanistan occurred after the September 11 attacks in late 2001 and was supported by close US allies. … Its public aims were to dismantle al-Qaeda and deny it a safe base of operations in Afghanistan by removing the Taliban from power. Not for US rights, liberties or freedoms.

Not one of those wars were entered into so as to fight for the rights, liberties or freedoms of America or American’s. Overall it was either to support our allies and so as to ensure ultimately that we were not invaded by foreign enemies.

The only war part of America entered into over rights, freedoms and liberties was in fact:

The American Civil War which was fought between the United States of America and the Confederate States of America, a collection of eleven southern states that left the Union in 1860 and 1861. The conflict began primarily as a result of the long-standing disagreement over the institution of slavery.

Hey Trump, read that one again before you defend the Confederate Flag.

As to Civil Liberties:

Civil Liberties – The state of being subject only to laws established for the GOOD OF THE COMMUNITY especially with regard to freedom of action and speech.

You know what the anti-maskers miss about civil liberties right, I think we all see that it is the ‘good of the community’ part. Only thinking of themselves. What is good for the community currently is to wear a face mask and to socially distance.

Soldiers fight for America, not rights, not liberties or freedoms, they fight foreign enemies, potential invaders who if they were to get footing on American soil –  would in fact destroy our country.

The self proclaimed Wartime President as Trump puts it, “the virus is the enemy.”

Guess what, the virus, the enemy is on US SOIL and destroying our country, our rights, our freedoms because it’s a goddamn virus.

Anti-Maskers are a huge part of why states are now rolling back openings or considering shutting down again.

Anti-Maskers by default are simply Un-American because a true soldier would fight the enemy and in this case its by wearing a fucking mask rather than a bullet or a bomb.

So I am going to say this loud and I am going to say it proudly, Anti-Maskers are anti-american, either shut up and wear a mask to help fight the enemy like a true soldier who loves his or her country or go find country that will afford you your pitiful, shellfish behavior.

Colorado Cafe Shut Down For Defying State Safer at Home Order

Coronavirus Disease 2019 Graphic

Coronavirus Disease 2019 Graphic. (U.S. Air Force Graphic by Rosario “Charo” Gutierrez)

Castle Rock – Colorado

Cristal M Clark

The owner of  C&C Coffee and Kitchen in Castle Rock, Colorado decided to defy the State’s safer at home orders and opened it’s dining room to the masses Sunday. Now a day later the eatery has been shut down by the Tri-County Health Department and Governor Jared Polis ordered the suspension of the restaurant’s license.

coronavirus-restaurant-coffee-colorado_crimeshop

The eatery was flooded with happy diners who were mask free with the exception of one individual. Images and video flooded social media yesterday of the opened eatery. The owner, April Arellano, told local papers she did not expect it to be as busy as it was but was thankful for those that came out. “I’m so happy so many people came out to support the Constitution and stand up for what is right. We did our time. We did our two weeks. We did more than two weeks … and we were failing. We had to do something.” So you put yourself before the safety of your customers? Nice.

And now she has been forced to close and her license yanked.

People flooded social media either in support of her or not and that is where things are getting ugly. Some slammed her “So much selfish stupidity. If it was just themselves they were endangering I wouldn’t care, but we’re all connected. It’s a pandemic and people are dying,” one individual wrote on member station Colorado Public Radio’s Facebook post about the reopening.

Others praised her.

And it truly depends on which side someone is on with regards to the US shutting down virtually everything. Some view it as the government taking away constitutional rights, while others view it as simply being asked to do our part to stop the spread of the virus. And many of those that oppose such shutdowns often try to throw the Constitution into the conversation, I have rights, we have rights, it is my right, we are being oppressed, our rights are being infringed upon.

I am so sick of seeing this argument, no one lost any right, no one’s rights are being infringed upon. People in the United States are so pathetically selfish that they simply do not care for anything or anyone other than themselves. It is ridiculous.

These are the same arguments you hear about mask wearing. The argument is beyond so fucking stupid every time I hear it that I want to vomit. I’ve heard those that argue all of this by telling everyone, if you are afraid of getting sick, stay home. My response is usually, Fuck You. Those individuals are infringing on the rights of others. They are, not the government, every single individual who refuses to wear a mask, to remain closed until it’s deemed safe to reopen, open at a lesser capacity and so on, infringe on everyone else’s rights. This is far from government overreach, it’s purely a level of American ineptitude that has never been seen before. These people call anyone willing to comply with shutdown orders or mask wearing: sheep. To a careful observer the only sheep are those that are allowing themselves to become part of the problem, the protesting the refusal to remain closed, the refusal to wear masks, those individuals are in fact the sheep. They follow the masses of distorted, misinformation brought about by nothing more than conspiracy theory and selfishness.

But that is not how they see it right? They only think of themselves, me, me, me, like petulant children having a tantrum. They want people to become infected just to prove a point but what they lack is education. Not everyone wants to become infected, some have elderly family members or a family member who has a compromised immune system who do not want to see a loved one become infected. It is not the right of the masses to infringe upon the rights of another individual who simply wants to live and avoid getting the virus. That is the part these selfish – simple minded people don’t get.

Dr. John M. Douglas Jr., the health department’s executive director: “It is disheartening that this restaurant has chosen to move ahead of the public orders and not even consider implementing best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

That is the other thing, the eatery did not implement or even attempt to implement best practices, social distancing, ppe. Nothing, they did nothing.

So the owner, April Arellano of C&C Coffee and Kitchen proved one fatal point and that is that she does not give a shit about anyone’s health or safety, all she cared about was money.

That is pure selfish, greed.

Colorado Unemployment Update – Accounts Show Funds Paid

Colorado-Unemployment-Crimeshop

Bank’s Show Funds Have Not Been Released By State

Cristal M Clark

Since yesterday I’ve received hundreds of calls and emails from concerned unemployment recipients in the state of Colorado, who have approved claims, were getting payments on time and suddenly this week, they are still waiting for payments. Additionally, although the state told the local news outlets over the weekend that the additional $600 per week payments will start being included this week and will be retroactively paid, recipients are not seeing the funds nor are they seeing that information on their MyUi accounts.

This is the email that was sent to anyone who filed on time on Sunday:

IMG_3867

As of this morning, recipients of unemployment have not seen payments hitting bank accounts, when trying to phone the state, no one is getting through. Banks still show the funds have not been released.

Not everyone has received a stimulus payment as of yet, people were already financially suffering and the State of Colorado is not answering questions. This is such a huge debacle and all people want are answers, when will they see the funds, will this continue to be a problem and when will the additional $600 start being paid? See the issue for many is simple, they have bills to pay, you cannot make payment arrangements on bills because now no one knows when they will receive the funds and the state won’t even answer the phone much less update it’s website with some oh, useful information.

People are asking on social media about other individuals checking to see if anyone knows what is going on and it seems everyone is at a loss. The state has 72 hours to pay the funds out, business days so if you filed on Sunday, you should have seen the funds hitting your bank accounts yesterday, which is basically what the email the state sent said but folks are seeing nothing.

This has the potential to blow in the states face should it continue to be a problem. People are already stressed, isolated, and angry. In viewing social media some folks are ready to storm the capital here in Denver because the state is not answering anyone and will not update it’s website with useful information which tends to make an already financially strained and suffering public more willing to take drastic measures because they are under a tremendous amount of stress, this type of situation can cause desperation.

The state of Colorado needs to be transparent with unemployment recipients, especially if you do not want to be inundated with phone calls, update the website with information explaining to folks what happened, when it will be fixed and when they are actually going to see the extra $600 per week start to go out.

In the meantime I have urged those seeking answers to hit up the local media which I normally do not do but in this case they have a louder voice than I do, if the state is not going to answer much less put useful information in it’s website perhaps the local media outlets can get some real answers instead of what has been provided just to pacify.

It used to be if you held a city or state job it was hard to get fired from it, in this day and age I would not count on that, their is no excuse to not give the public adequate, clear and honest information.

Protests Against Stay at Home Orders

Denver Colorado – Operation Gridlock

Have you seen some of the protests calling for an end to stay at home orders? Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Utah, Virginia, Kentucky and this weekend, Denver. The protests in Denver are a planned “Operation Gridlock” event around the Capitol building in people’s cars at 1 p.m., the other calling for people to bring signs and stand outside from 2 to 4 p.m. They have been organized by various groups, including Libertarian parties around the metro area.

Victoria Reynolds, chairwoman of the Libertarian Party of Colorado and a candidate for Douglas County commissioner: “It is the draconian measures from Gov. Jared Polis, local mayors and health departments that have forced people to speak out. We want to send a message to the governor, to mayors, to the federal government even to say: We elected you to represent us. You are our employees, you don’t get to stay working, collecting a paycheck, while you’re putting us all out of work.”

Sometimes when I see groups like this and I listen to what they are saying I sit back and wonder if they have been paying attention to what’s happening? If they think things are going back to the way they were they have been either ignoring the world, have sat drunk through all of this or are just flat out stupid. Things are not going back, that is precisely why the world broke.

We are all upset however, organizing protests such as these show the true ineptitude of the individuals who are organizing them. Their answer is to endanger the lives of others because they feel that the government is removing basic human rights, the ability to go out, be free, to work…the problem with that mentality is that these people are more or less the type to hide symptoms and risk infecting others just for the sake of being able to do whatever it is they want to do. The type of people who want to incite acts of violence, spread misinformation and fake cures.

These stay at home orders were not put into place so as to take the rights of citizens away, but to save lives rather. I’ve heard what some of these groups say, they want to open everything up and they believe, if someone gets sick and dies they die, some of them even believe the virus is fake, the government is using it to try to manipulate and control us, they just want to go back to the way things were.

Again, things are not going back to the way they were. The jobs people had, many employers are only going to bring back half of the staff they had, if at all. People were making good money, but they are not going to be getting that back, companies lost so much from all of this they will not be able to afford to pay what they were, The job market is going to be super competitive and employers know that, they use that to their advantage, this has wiped out over a decade of job growth. To make matters worse, our president supports and encourages these outrageous protests, today tweeting things like liberate.

These protests accomplish nothing because nothing is going back to the way it was.

Construction Workers Nationwide Being Thrown to the Wolves?

Workers Worried They Are at Higher Risk of Catching Covid-19

Cristal M Clark

One of our nations essential workforce no one is talking about are our construction workers who are in most states being considered essential employees. These men and women are among the least protected of all work forces.

They often times do not have quick access to soap an water while on the job site, many are forced to share a porta-potty and if you have ever been in one those cleanliness is not a priority. Some sites have 50 or more workers, they work in close contact with one another all day. The workers go from the job to a food truck or to the nearest gas station for foods during breaks and lunch, having not properly washed their hands. The White House asked many construction companies to donate their stock of N95 masks to help alleviate shortages at local medical facilities and that leaves workers exposed to a plethora of things including Covid-19. On bigger jobs where they do interior work they are often times confining as many as five to 10 people into small interior spaces. A few times while driving in and around Denver the past couple of weeks, workers will be gathered outside in large groups.

All of this is leaving many workers to begin to worry for their own well being and safety not to mention that many of these workers go home to families whose ages range from young to elderly. These men and women can get the virus, carry it over to the food truck, or to the gas station, home and then the family who does the grocery shopping can carry it into public, every person they come into contact with will pass the virus.

So as we look to get a good distance ahead of the virus, what are we doing as a nation to protect those that actually do the building of our nation?
