Coronavirus Heroin Anyone?

traffic safety

Bronx – New York

Cristal M Clark

I was wondering when we would start marketing campaigns geared towards the pandemic. Covid-19 Micro-Brew, the Rona Burger, Coronavirus Fries, you get the picture. I did not expect something like Heroin to be labeled as “Coronavirus.”

coronavirus-heroin-crimeshop

I am guessing that the NYPD was just as surprised to see it as well. Turns out some quick thinking drug dealers got their marketing game on and started selling heroin in glassine packets stamped with the word “Coronavirus” next to a biohazard symbol.

NYPD-Coronavirus-Heroin-CrimeShop

I have to hand it to them for the creativity here. I mean they beat some of the world’s leading ad agencies to the punch line on this one.

The NYPD stumbled upon a Bronx heroin/fentanyl packaging mill where they were shocked to learn, produced more than $1 million worth of individual dose envelopes stamped “Coronavirus,” “24 Black Mamba,” “Hiroshima,” “Isis,” “Antrax” and “95.”

Damn these guys are killing it with the clever marketing.

According to York DEA Special Agent in Charge Ray Donovan

NYC-Coronavirus-Heroin-crimeshop

“We arrested six drug traffickers who aptly branded their product ‘coronavirus. Traffickers market their drugs like businesses, branding their product with stamps to attract users, like ’24 Black Mamba’; or use an ‘Antrax’ stamp to designate origins and reference enforcer gangs of the Sinaloa Cartel.”

It is important to note that brand of heroin, and the “24 Black Mamba” heroin have been associated with multiple fatal overdoses in New Jersey but the source of the heroin has not been discovered yet.

Since New York has faced some really strict lockdown measures it wasn’t too difficult for cops to figure out what was up after they witnessed a drug hand-off near the George Washington Bridge Thursday night, after they found the branded drugs in a Bronx apartment.

At the end of the day, The raid resulted in the seizure of $25,000 cash, 120,000 packets of heroin or fentanyl, drug-packaging equipment and ink pads used to stamp the glassine packets.

Thief Proudly Proclaims “Bail Reform, It’s Lit”

Bail-reform-Fail-crimeshop

New York Subways

Cristal M Clark

Normally people love hearing when criminals just don’t learn the 1st, 2nd or 139th time and keep getting busted, in this case however, the criminal learned that bail reform is pretty lit.

Charles-Barry-crimeshop

If you read that first line, this guy has been busted at least 139 times for theft on New York’s Subways. Charles Barry, 56, has been arrested 6 times since the start of this year and he’s also been released each time without having to post bail under New York’s new bail reform law since his alleged offenses were nonviolent, the New York Daily News reported.

Because of that, Charles yelled to reporters Thursday outside the NYPD Transit District 1 headquarters in the Columbus Circle station before officers transported him to Manhattan Central Booking, “Bail reform, it’s lit!”“It’s the Democrats! The Democrats know me and the Republicans fear me. You can’t touch me! I can’t be stopped!”

“I’m famous! I take $200, $300 a day of your money! You can’t stop me!”

It’s a great thing. It’s a beautiful thing. They punk’ed people out for bullshit crimes.”

In all Charles has been arrested 139 times over his entire career as a subway thief.

Charles was held in custody for 36 hours until his arraignment hearing in the Manhattan Criminal Court. He was then promptly released before trial without paying bail.

BAIL-REFORM-crimeshop

Charles also had two warrants out for his arrest for missing court dates related to past alleged subway theft, including one instance in January when he allegedly snatched a $50 bill out of a woman’s hand while she was trying to buy a Metro card at a Bryant Park station machine.

Isn’t it fantastic to see bail reform working?

MS-13 Planning Attacks on US Soil

MS13-crimeshop.jpg

NYPD – MS-13

Cristal M Clark

In an effort to earn some street cred, it would appear that MS-13 gang members who are in the United States are planning attacks, specifically on off duty officers of the NYPD.

MS13nypd-crimeshop

Not that MS-13 isn’t already scary enough, the gang is currently active in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties the activity, well that would include drugs, child prostitution, racketeering and good old-fashioned murder of course.

Before everyone panics here, the threat as not been substantiated it is just speculation currently, yet nonetheless a bulletin went out to the NYPD warning officers to be vigilant.

The Bulletin: “Members of MS-13 are looking to ‘hit’ NYPD police officers, specifically in the Brentwood/Central Islip area as well as possibly Patchogue.” Then went on to say, that the gang members would carry out the attacks on off-duty officers “in order to gain street credibility.”

So  I guess MS-13 doesn’t feel that they have street cred?

FBI agent Manny Gomez; “Whenever a law enforcement officer is being threatened, especially by an organization like MS-13 which we already know is uber violent and has killed numerous people throughout the country if not throughout the world, this has to be taken serious. They are going above and beyond what any other gang does, and the scary part is that we already know that they legitimately carry out their threats and they are extremely violent.”

nypd-CrimeShop9

It is unclear just how it was discovered that MS-13 is planning attacks on officers of the NYPD, one thing is for sure, once a rumor like this starts about MS-13 it usually turns out to be credible.

Unfortunately, in the United States, while we watch Trump turn the US presidency into a joke, we already have individuals here that seek to kill US citizens including our police.

Maybe instead of building a wall, or sending the Army to guard the southern border, we should send the army to the streets to take out some of these threatening criminals such as MS-13. It is what our military trains its soldiers to do after all, remove the threat.

NYPD Sends Cease and Desist Letter to Google and Waze.

NYPD-Patrol-Car.-crimeshop.jpg

New York Police Department – The Gloves Are Off

By: Cristal M Clark

I love Waze personally, I use it even when I don’t need it just because of the voice choices I get, I loved it when Samuel L Jackson talked me into work every day.

Waze-Crimeshop.jpeg

I have not ever used it though for things that the police would maybe consider an abuse of it, I’ll use to in bad weather so as to avoid accidents, or if I hear about police activity in a part of town I am going to be near and that police activity is usually tied to a major event like a couple of weekends ago in Denver when someone shot two DPD officers, I’d like an alternate route, or I want to be near the story because I am going to write about it, but I am generally not really interested if the police have a speed trap ahead or a DUI checkpoint.

DUI-CheckPoint-Crimeshop

Although this story focuses more on the NYPD, I am sure other cities are facing this very same issue.

Google-CrimeShop

I guess I had never thought of this, users are in fact reporting DUI checkpoints and the NYPD has a pretty clear message for Waze and it’s parent company Google in the form of a cease and desist letter issued to Waze and Google, the NYPD described that Waze is in fact putting the lives of its citizens at risk:

“Individuals who post the locations of DWI checkpoints may be engaging in criminal conduct since such actions could be intentional attempts to prevent and/or impair the administration of the DWI laws and other relevant criminal and traffic laws.

The posting of such information for public consumption is irresponsible since it only serves to aid impaired and intoxicated drivers to evade checkpoints and encourage reckless driving. Revealing the location of checkpoints puts those drivers, their passengers, and the general public at risk.”

Escalated-Quickly-CrimeShop

I agree however…It’s important to know that legally, I can’t imagine that the NYPD could actually make Google enforce not allowing users to report DUI checkpoints, they would technically have to prove that Google/Waze were encouraging users to report the checkpoints.

Which they are not.

As a user of Waze, the app does not encourage me to report anything other than maybe accidents, weather issues or hazards in the road, like a dead body rolled up in a carpet on the shoulder of the road that I might like to avoid hitting. You know things like that.

Google-maps-logo-crimeshop

Also, Google is testing out some limited traffic stop reporting features in Google Maps which would tell users of some form of traffic stop, I am sure that Google would not label it DUI checkpoint but to be honest, users are not stupid, they would be able to figure it out given the time and location of such a stop.

Morally though, if you are a user who is reporting DUI checkpoints, shame on you. A speed trap I can see, okay fine, but a DUI checkpoint? Hey I get it, some individuals take this F the police thing seriously and think this is funny. It’s not really funny.

CrimeShop-CristalMClark

If someone got word of a DUI checkpoint through Waze, avoided the checkpoint and harmed let’s say my children or grandchildren, I’d find out, hunt you down and destroy your life. And I know people who could in fact vouch for that this very moment.

When someone goes against my principal, I can be a wee bit relentless.

But, the NYPD could, if they wanted to and this is me giving you guys a legal way to up the ante here, they could file something like, oh what is that word I am looking for…oh that’s it a, subpoena. Because as it were, sometimes for those of you delightful individuals who like to report DUI checkpoints and take note of this, when you “report” something to an “organization or company” your information is “logged” such as the account you reported it from, the cell # that you reported it from…I don’t know just something to think about you know in your spare time whilst driving around reporting DUI checkpoints and such.

So stop reporting DUI Checkpoints everyone, it’s just a bad idea.

Scammers World Wide Failed to Meet 2018 Financial Goals

bitcoin-crimeshop.jpg

Wave of Bomb Threats Sent

It would appear that scammers worldwide have failed to meet this year’s financial goals so they had to resort to plan b.

As reported by social media and numerous law enforcement agencies On Wednesday afternoon, a wave of bomb threats were reported at various locations across the United States.

Those being, schools, hospitals, government offices, businesses and something new, private residences.

The threats came by email according to law enforcement.

NBC News quoted the NYPD’s Counterterrorism Bureau’s brief statement on the investigation:

“We are currently monitoring multiple bomb threats that have been sent electronically to various locations throughout the city. These threats are also being reported to other locations nationwide and are not considered credible at this time.”

Scammers are becoming increasingly more and more brazen albeit, ridiculous in terms of the threats circulating these days, but generally you can still tell that it is complete and total bs.

bomb threat-crimeshop

Whomever is behind the threats is clearly truly quite inept.

Guess, who is not impressed by this latest attempt to score some cryptocurrency?

This is not how we communicate with one another here in America, try texting and shortening the length of that poorly written demand for Bitcoin next time.

NYPD – Tells Officers Please Do Not Record Your Naughty Bits With Your Body Cam

nypd-crimeshop.jpeg

NYPD 79th Precinct

Have you ever been sitting around with your body cam, bored and itching to shoot some video of your testicles? No?

Me either, oddly enough.

NYPD- Raymond-Williams-bodycam-testicle-pic-crimeshop

But for Detective Specialist Raymond Williams of the 79th Precinct of the NYPD, I guess the temptation was just too much.

Raymond recorded a 32-second video of his testicles on a body cam which was then ‘accidentally’ discovered by a female staffer at the city’s Legal Bureau during a review of recordings.

nypd-body-cam-crimeshop

Raymond has subsequently been suspended for the prank which went down according to the report like this:

“Oct 2, Raymond took possession of another member of the service’s department issued body camera and recorded a 32-second second video consisting of him intentionally exposing his testicles while in the 79 Precinct Special Operations Office, Williams’ naked behind and testicles were on full display, and he even rubbed his penis.”

Wait a second, did this just go from innocent prank to full on soft-core porn?

To make matters worse, Raymonds position is that of a community liaison between police and citizens.

As a general rule of thumb, most officers do refrain from recording soft-core porn with ones body cam but for Raymond, it seems that he simply could not resist the temptation.

Trump and Media Blame One Another for Bombs Being Sent

pipe-bombs-crimeshop

Donald Trump vs Mainstream Media

When it’s just too much.

mainstream-media-fake-news-crimeshop

This morning I watched the overwhelming message from the mainstream media in that the bombs being sent are Donald Trump’s fault for inciting violence against those that are well, against Trump.

donald-trump-drunk-af-crimeshop

While Trump on the other hand, blamed the mainstream media for inciting the bombs because well, they are not Trump supporters.

I found it all around to be in rather poor taste and simply too much to be completely honest with you.

media-mainstream-crimeshop

The mainstream media seemed to feel that Trump had missed the mark yet again by not bringing America together in some magical fashion and coddle everyone so they all felt safe.

A move any realistic individual knows all to well, that Trump is not going to make, ever at any moment in time. He lives off of the drama and bringing Americans together does not afford the needed drama, panic and fear mongering that he enjoys.

The media could not help but sling insults towards Trump all morning long.

The words that were spoken were just pure hatred.

Again, I do not like Donald Trump, I do not respect him in the least and truly believe if it were not for his cabinet, the US Military, the CIA and the FBI, that the US would be in a dangerous situation simply because he ran for the office of the US Presidency, without bothering himself to become knowledgeable enough about it to actually perform the job even close to adequately.

But I am not going to blame him for a lunatic sending pipe bombs all over.

protest-trump-era-crimeshop

He incites a lot of things on both sides, even in the middle.

Then again, so does the mainstream media.

propaganda-media-controls-us-crimeshop

In fact, the mainstream media is slightly more to blame for inciting a lot of angst simply because they know better.

Claiming not to would be the biggest lie of all.

Trump does what Trump does simply because he is not educated enough to know not to do it.

The media on the other hand knows better.

Trump did not seem to care how the mainstream media felt quite frankly.

A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News,” Trump tweeted. “It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description.”

“Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!”

Trump has declared the media as the enemy of the people in the past and the media today was quick to continue to shove that down everyone’s throat.

It seemed to set off a quite a bit of finger pointing this morning.

Sticks and stones and shocking, not a single person’s bones were broken.

The point being, while I am far from Trump’s biggest fan, I am not a fan at all, we all know how the man is.

If the media feels that strongly about bringing Americans together as a united front that will not be intimidated by threats of violence, perhaps they should do a little more of practicing what it is that they preach.

That is correct, get off the high horse and rather than point the finger at Trump, do and say something inspiring, encourage viewers to be aware, report suspicious activity, try to recall anything recent that just did not seem right and report it within reason.

Do you know what happens when you stop paying attention to a three-year-old having a tantrum?

It stops throwing the tantrum.

Trump likes the blame and hatred, maybe the media could bother itself to stop doing that long enough to evolve past it and rise above.

Knowledge is power, we are full of knowledge about who and what Trump is, he loves the pipe bomb stories, so turn those stories into something he is not going to love.

Stop blaming him, you only make yourselves appear desperate for ratings.

nypd-pipe-bombs-crimeshop

Focus the viewers attention back to the actual issue at hand so as to better law enforcement’s ability to catch whomever this is more quickly, you know before someone actually gets hurt.

NYPD Cop Ran Gambling and Prostitution Racket

NYPD-Ludwig-Paz-Crimeshop

NYPD

For the most part, police in our nation are great, every now and again though you run across one or two that simply want no part in actually upholding the law, particularly when it comes to themselves.

Ludwig Paz, a respected and highly decorated NYPD officer, as it turns out became the ring leader of an illegal gambling and prostitution ring in New York.

Retired-NYPD-Cop-Runs-Brothel-Crimeshop

Ludwig is a retired vice detective who used his knowledge of policing to run the rackets while evading the detection of law enforcement for a time.

He was caught naturally, but not after reaping the financial benefits.

His excuses are:

A Costly Divorce

Child Support

The recession of 2008

He and his new wife were earning roughly $2 million between August 2016 and September 2017 running the illegal prostitution and gambling outfits.

Which they were happily blowing on fancy and pricey new cars, clothing as well as other expensive luxury items.

Take note that he and his new wife were not happily spending the funds on his children.

So, this week’s award goes out to Ludwig Paz, thanks for all of your years of service as a cop with the NYPD and in turn taking your knowledge of evading the law and legal system to break the law.

US Department of Justice on a witch-hunt

Loretta Lynch

Sorting out the Eric Garner case

police-chokehold-death-crimeshop

It’s a touchy case with a lot of questions and some are accusing the DOJ of being on what is considered a witch-hunt, while others are praising the efforts of the DOJ to investigate the case of Eric Garner and the chokehold.

Officially, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office attributed Eric Garner’s death to a combination of a chokehold, compression of his chest, and poor health.

What shocked the world was the fact that he was left lying on the ground in front of officers for about 7 minutes while they waited for an ambulance to arrive. After Eric lost consciousness, officers turned him onto his side to ease his breathing.

What’s more is that no one gave him CPR because they “believed” that he was breathing. He was pronounced dead at the hospital about an hour later.

An hour later, not a couple of minutes but an hour. What makes the case so bad however is that he plead with officers and yelled out, at least 11 times “I can’t breathe,” before passing out.

Three simple words, that were ignored, three simple words that made the world stop and gasp for air collectively.

The ME found that Eric died as a result of “compression of neck (chokehold), compression of chest and prone positioning during physical restraint by police.” And so, his death was ruled a homicide.

At this juncture it makes no difference whether or not he was breaking the law and/or resisted arrest.

The chokehold maneuver was against NYPD policy at the time and still is, so ultimately, who is responsible for the man’s death?

The officers, Eric or the EMT’s?

The facts are in black and white, they come around the time of the chokehold which is why I look at the DOJ’s involvement into the case as being crucial.

Did any of the officers go into this arrest with malicious intent to harm or kill?

I am going to go out on a limb here and say no, they did not.

They acted too aggressively and failed to follow policy because of the use of the chokehold.

Which leaves the questions, if NYPD is dealing with a suspect and the situation becomes a medical emergency are they trained to perform CPR/first aid and when calling for an ambulance what priority are suspects given?

Are NYPD officers inadequately trained when it comes to medical emergencies? Putting someone in a chokehold until they pass-out is actually quite dangerous.

Yes, police hear all of the time that someone can’t breathe, they are hurting them etc.

The question then becomes, are they so used to hearing it that they sort of ignore it when a suspect says that he/she cannot breathe?

If the question is answered honestly, then it confirms what most of society suspects with regards to Eric Garner.

I’ve seen police deal with suspects who say that they cannot breathe and the attitude is more or less “the guy is faking it” so they put them in cuffs, turn around and wait for another car or an ambulance or just chat with other officers, you know for a little bonding time, while ignoring the suspect and his or her medical needs.

So can the officers be charged with any criminal charges because of the use of the chokehold and the fact that he was left for 7 long minutes on a sidewalk dying?

For all we know, he may have been already dying at the point at which he was passed out and rolled onto his side.

DOJ - crimeshop.jpg

The issue that the DOJ faces however which is just as crucial, many are wondering if they can conduct a fair and impartial investigation? Is this a witch-hunt or is it is a fair investigation?

The DOJ changed the team of agents and lawyers investigating the Eric Garner case in the hopes that it would jump start it back into action, which can be viewed as a way to lead a horse to water so to speak.

Switching out a team leaves the impression that someone is not getting the answers that they want so they will bring in someone who will provide the answers they want to hear.

It also carries the subtle hint that someone on that team may have had an agenda that the rest of the team didn’t agree with…it just does not sit really well with the public.

The DOJ does not have the full trust of the public after the Hillary Clinton email scandal investigation so…changing out the team really does have some of society feeling that the DOJ is in fact, not capable of conducting a fair and impartial investigation.

In the end the DOJ needs to determine at what point did the arrest of Eric Garner go from a simple arrest to being a homicide, one that they can legally charge officers for?
