Mainstream Media and it’s Dirty Little Secret

Donald Trump’s Mental Fitness Question – Brian Stelter and CNN

In some rather funny news CNN host Brian Stelter is facing criticism for revealing that he and other members of mainstream media often times sit back and openly discuss/question whether or not Donald Trump is truly mentally fit.

Apparently during Sunday’s edition of “Reliable Sources,” Brian Stelter said conversations about Trump’s mental fitness were happening “in newsrooms and TV studios” in the not shocking wake of Trump’s response to the previous weekend’s violence between white nationalists and counter-protesters and Charlottesville, Va.

“Usually after the microphones are off, or after the stories are filed, after the paper has been put to bed, people’s concerns, and fears and questions come out…Question like these: Is the president of the United States a racist? Is he suffering from some kind of illness? Is he fit for office? And if he’s unfit, then what?”

My first assumption is always that Trump either has mental health issues, is drunk or high or a combination of all 3. I lean heavily towards a strong combination of all 3.

I’m sorry here but I honestly fail to see why Brian is even facing a blink of the eye for making those comments, aren’t people worldwide already asking the same questions?

Trust me, everyone is asking those very same questions, so why would anyone in the media not be?

In fact, they should be and they should be reporting on that rather than the diatribe of playing nice and kissing Trump’s rosey red ass instead of going for the gold.

The truth is simple, clear and so very concise and, the world knows it.

Trump is a narcissist, a racist, a bigot, a womanizer and he lies, makes up facts that support his cause and only that. Trump’s only care is himself, what he believes in and what will make him more well known. He wants his name in history and nothing more or less than that.

He has not a true care for doing what is right, what serves his nation’s best interests, just his own.

The US Presidency is nothing more than just another notch in Trump’s proverbial belt, his personal road of riches.

He is not mentally fit, more rather he is truly mentally unstable and very unsuitable to hold the office of the US Presidency.

Hey Brian, you deserve a medal.

White House Response Too Little, To Late

Trump’s Joke About Police Brutality

Trump Departs D.C. As He Takes Working-Class Hero Tour To Divided Detroit Union

Today, Sarah Huckabee Saunders said that she believes that Trump was only joking last week whilst speaking to law enforcement, saying something along the lines of;

“Police officers should let suspects heads bang against the doors of their police cars…”

Is that to be categorized as something along the lines of ‘locker room’ type talk?

The response from the White House was too little and so very much too late. The damage has already been done for no other reason than this is typical of Trump, he wears how he really does feel on his sleeve and then promptly either Tweets it or runs his mouth about it.

Then he tries to promptly sweep it under the carpet when he realizes it pissed a lot of people off.

Needless to say, wait for it, because it gets much better folks;

“When you see these towns, when you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, and I said ‘Please don't be too nice.” I would assume Trump was explaining some imaginary conversation he was having with someone…

What the hell does he mean by "When you see these towns?" Chew on that question, is he suggesting something because the long and short of it it, given his personality he is.

At any rate, he continued with this little gem of pure douchebaggery:

“Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over, like, don’t hit their head and they’ve just killed somebody, don’t hit their head, I said, ‘You can take that hand away, okay?”

So is that supposed to be funny, does it sound funny at all or does it sound more like a not to subtle suggestion that it’s perfectly okay in certain circumstances to use police brutality?

And while many cheered what he said on Friday, police departments across the country sat back and thought it over and were pretty quick to quite disagree with and condemn Trump for his comments.

When you have a president who openly endorses police brutality you undo all of the work departments across the country and the former Director of the FBI tried to accomplish.

That was to bring police and the communities that they serve together.

Sadly, this is just another showing of Trump’s true nature and intent, dividing and destroying America, piece by little piece.

Vladimir Putin – Dear U.S. Lawmakers – You are Insolent!

vladimir-putin-us lawmakers insolent-crimeshop.jpg

Vladimir Putin vs Insolent U.S. Lawmakers

Roughly 6 or so hours ago now Vladimir Putin threatened that Russia would retaliate if “Insolent” U.S. lawmakers were to pass sanctions against Russia.

No one is quite sure what Vladimir plans to do in an effort to make good on that threat.

And as you might have guessed, U.S. lawmakers decided against backing down over his threat, The Senate voted 98-2 to pass the bill and send it to Trump's desk for signature.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives passed the legislation with a 419-3 vote and that vote also happens to toughen sanctions on Iran and North Korea.

Some news agencies are reporting that it is unclear whether or not Trump will actually sign the bill. The bill did pass with veto-proof majorities in both chambers.

According to Anthony Scaramucci there is a chance Trump could veto the bill or he could sign it the way it is or he could very well veto the bill and negotiate for even tougher sanctions against Russia.

For the most part, I would love to argue with Vladimir about his calling U.S. lawmakers “Insolent,” the truth is though,  the guy has a point.

Maybe not so much with regards to why the US should not pass sanctions against Russia but most lawmakers are “Insolent” more often than not.

Putin-Trolls-Donald-Trump-Crime- Shop

Trump is so proof of that.

At any rate, Vladimir is deeply opposed to the bill as one might very well imagine, he seems to feel that this behavior from the US with regards to the bill, ‘destroys international law.’

As for Trump, this will force him to sign the bill or face the political embarrassment of Congress who would in kind, override his veto.

Which by the way doesn’t mean much of anything to Trump, he is impervious to “political embarrassment” as his Twitter account clearly shows. He makes himself look like a spoiled 2 year old through Twitter on almost a daily basis so this “political embarrassment” stuff would more or less be like a walk through the park to him.

Either way, he can pretty much kiss his bromance with Vladimir goodbye.

U.S. Press Secretary Anthony Scaramucci – Just Fire Everyone!

Anthony Scaramucci vs U.S. Government Leaks

Can someone remind me which genus bus Anthony Scaramucci stepped off of? I mean, he has one hell of a sure fire way to fight inside leaks from everhappening again. I do realize the man has a decent education but he does know that he should utilize it right?

Trump’s new communications director, one Anthony Scaramucci, vowed today to purge the White House staff of those naughty and disloyal aides in an effort to crack down on leaks to the press.

While I am sure this has some just rattled to the very core, I’m not sure how this latest threat will prevent leaks from continuing to happen. I mean, sure he can fire whomever he’d like, however he might want to sit back and rethink that for just a while. Really toss it about through the old noggin since it’s pretty evident he doesn’t have much else up in between the two ears rattling about.

Besides, didn’t Anthony himself leak that he was going to fire a press aide, then in turn complained that anyone actually ran the story?

Let’s be clear about the majority of the leaks. They are coming from concerned citizens whose government began breaking laws, spying on countless Americans as well as other innocent individuals worldwide and how can we forget, worked with Russia (current government officials) to create a shit storm of fake news in an effort to sway the American voters to vote for Trump.

The point is, Anthony can elect to fire whomever he pleases,, the problem that he faces is that no matter how good you believe you are at hiring folks who would never leak intel, you’re not that good because, the hiring pool is ever changing and newer minds want to play ball a different way.

So the better focus here with regards to cracking down on leaks would be to focus on why they are happening and correct that behavior not seek out the leakers.

The truth is, if they felt that our Government including those in the white house, the very people they work for could in fact be trusted, they would not be leaking information or intel.

That is the problem that needs to be fixed, and that is no going away until our Government behaves.

When you tell the American people you are going to swing the ax, it translates to, “you people go bury your heads in the sand and pretend things are being run all peachy keen, while we continue doing things the world doesn’t know about that we know as a Government, are both morally and ethically wrong.”

For instance I like using Edward Snowden because he is such a powerful example of what happens when someone tries to utilize the U.S. Government’s whistleblower program.

The man was shut down and basically told, “hey, the American people don’t know about this, some in our own Government don’t even know about this so, let’s just keep this under wraps.”

Being a both morale and ethical individual after having been shut down by the very program designed to both investigate and protect him, he had no choice but to become a leaker.

James Comey did it and he had no choice but to do it either, it ensured a continued investigation into Russian Meddling.

Anthony should know, that is his problem in a nutshell, it’s not the leakers,  it is the various different agencies within our own Government, our policies and a very poor whistleblower program that really does not work, at all.

Not to mention our current lack of actual leadership, meaning an adult in the white house who is demanding of blind loyalty although so very undeserving of it.

Let’s face the fact and even I find this to be a bitter pill to swallow, when your own staff trusts the press more than you, hence why they leak to the press, the problem may be you and your policies rather than the staff leaking the information.

Anthony should understand with absolute clarity that the talent pool of individuals who pledge blind loyalty, well that is drying up and pretty rapidly.

People are far less likely to follow any leader or any organization, agency let alone a U.S. President with blind loyalty while the do naughty, naughty things.

Rosie O’Donnell Encourages Pushing Trump off of a Cliff?

Push Trump Off A Cliff – Game in Poor Taste or Good Fun?

“If I am brutal and you use brutal methods to overcome me, then you become brutal like me. And this we have done for thousands of years. Surely there is a different approach than to meet hate by hate.” The Book of Life, By J. Krishnamurti

Rosie -O'Donnell-CrimeShop.jpg

It seems that Rosie O’Donnell can’t help herself here, Rosie and Trump have had a very long standing hate/hate type of relationship and generally enjoy things like trading insults, name calling and the like. This past weekend it would seem that she took to Twitter to share a link to the popular game, “Push Trump off A Cliff Again.”

The game was created by Justin Hook, a California-based app and game creator in what I am guessing was some form of light hearted protest to Trump becoming our President. It allows users to control a Trump figure, who can be thrown off a cliff, into a steaming volcano or down a New York City manhole as well as feed Trump to a hungry dinosaur.

While on the outside it seems like just a game and although I completely understand that people just loath Donald Trump and despise with a passion that he is now the President of the United States, I personally feel that the game and the encouragement to play it are both in rather disparaging poor taste.

I don’t much care for Trumps outlandish behavior at times or some of his choices for his administration, I would never suggest or encourage anyone to toss him off of a cliff. In a video game, in a letter, a drawing etc.

Here’s why, the game in and of itself encourages violence against an active US President and it could inspire an act of violence against Trump by a disturbed individual.

Many American’s feel a lot of Trump’s behavior is childish, foolish and un-president like. In fact a lot of the world finds most of what Trump says or does to be childish. Why on earth would someone take the time to stoop to that childish level and create a childish game aimed at a violent act that results in a sitting U.S. President’s death?

“Surely that thing which you fight you become.” The Book of Life, J. Krishnamurti

Donald Trump Has Hard Time Finding FBI Head Who Will Pledge Loyalty to Him

Donald Trump – Christopher Wray – Confirmation Hearing

Ahhh I love the smell of my morning coffee just as much as I love the smell of someone vowing to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he would in fact, not break the law for President Donald Trump.

Could it be that Trump’s pick to head the FBI is just another James Comey type?

At the confirmation hearing today, Christopher A. Wray pledged to protect the bureau from political pressure.

His opening line: “My loyalty is to the Constitution and the rule of law.” Apparently in reference to Trump’s attempt to try to get James Comey to vow his loyalty to the newly elected president.

Christopher has also been quoted as stating  that the investigation into Russian election interference and possible links to Trump’s campaign was and is not a “witch hunt.”

When Christopher was asked about how he would respond should the president asked him to do something unlawful or unethical, he responded, “First I would try to talk him out of it, and if that failed, I would resign.”

He also stated that it would be highly unlikely that he, himself would meet with Trump privately one on one, which I would assume would be to protect and ensure the integrity of the FBI, boldly showing that Trump would not be able to compromise the FBI’s independence, you know that whole bit of not caving to political pressure and all, that one thing Trump attempted to get James Comey to do.

“You have to be able to stand firm to your principles”  Christopher was quoted as saying.

He might be a good chap after all, regardless the Democrats pushed him in every direction that they could just to make sure which I completely understand.

The President no matter how special he feels he is or how entitled he feels he should be, cannot have a yes man who has pledged his loyalty to the President serving as the director of the FBI.

The FBI must remain completely free and independent of political pressure and the head of the FBI must be loyal to the Constitution of the United States and the Rule of Law.

Who knows perhaps it was just lip service or he is a pretty okay chap.

Only time will tell to know that for sure.

Personally, I do not believe that anyone so far can touch James Comey in terms of truly understanding the delicate relationship between law enforcement and the communities that they serve.

He truly understood how law enforcement and communities really need to understand one another and work together in an effort to combat both crime and police brutality/corruption.

James took some pretty bold steps in an effort to understand that.

G-20 Summit – USA Gives Up World Leadership

China and Germany – look to take the torch from the U.S.

It’s been rumored that the US has pretty much retired from world leadership since the day that Donald Trump took office.

Putin-Trolls-Donald-Trump-Crime- Shop

And with each passing day, it does look more and more like that is, in fact the case.

Before we get into the nitty, gritty let’s back up to before Trump was inaugurated into office shall we and do a slow waltz.

Many of us out here in the real world warned everyone, that if Trump did not mend his childish ways he would end up an embarrassment to the US Presidency and make the United States a country the world once looked up to, a laughing stock.

This years G-20 Summit is yet another shining example of Donald Trump’s inability to actually lead a nation like a leader should rather than behave like a petulant child. The only difference is that instead of stomping his feet, screaming and crying, he is having his tantrum the adult way by, sending barbaric tweets in an effort to insult those that he dislikes or disagrees with, tweets that are at times strewn together with misinformation instead of facts.

Both China and Germany have already moved into to position to take the beloved torch and run with it at this years G-20 Summit. For those of you that do not already know this, The U.S. traditionally takes point in the search for common approaches to the big global issues of the day at G-20 summits.

Let’s just say, that China and Germany are basically being moved ahead in the line to take the torch because the Trump Presidency has been accused of dropping the said torch since Trump was inaugurated.

And speaking of dropping the torch, ball, the U.S. Presidency…

To make matters worse, in a recently released Pew Research report, 37 countries were asked if they had favorable views of our newly elected President and if they trusted him to do the right thing with regards to world affairs.

The answer although not shocking, is really, really bad. Trump is losing ground, ground he is not going to win back anytime soon.

In all but 2 countries the overall feeling of President Donald Trump is a thumbs down. With Countries losing confidence in the United States and her President at an alarming rate.

The 2 countries that do however favor Trump:

Israel and well you might have already guessed this one:

So as we head into the Celebration of the Declaration of Independence I’m left with one question, does Donald Trump in anyway represent the ideals this once great country was about? Does he really represent America or just himself and his selfish ego?

I’m wondering how many more times and he will drop the proverbial ball and still remain in office?

It is only a matter of time after all, he will eventually drop that ball on the wrong person, country or in the wrong way and eventually he will end up in his own web of deceit.

Take for instance the bit about not having tapes of between he and James Comey…can you really trust his word? Comey may well have given up the fight knowing that even if he did have tapes, Trump very well would have destroyed them…if I was like Trump, I would and then dare the guy coming after me.

Chicago 352 shot – in the killing game

chicago violence-crimeshop.jpg

America at a loss over Chicago’s killing game

It’s been awhile since looking at the numbers so here goes:

So far 352 individuals have been shot in Chicago this year, of that 295 have been shot and wounded, with 57 individuals having been shot and killed. And as always a huge shout out to for putting these numbers together on what seems like an hourly basis.

President Donald Trump-CrimeShop.jpg

President Donald Trump has vowed to do something about the violence in Chicago but the reality is still that if you read my last bit about Chicago, this is Atypical of the history in Chicago.

They have a growing upward tick of crime, then years later they bask in the sunlight of decreasing homicides and violence throughout the city, before they start to see that gut wrenching upward tick in crime again.

So what is the problem? Overall, several experts, including myself have studied it, it’s not isolated to just one issue it is several issues. It always has been several.

The problem with trying to fix a broken and wounded Chicago is that it is going to take a hell of a lot more than just sending in the Fed’s or the The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives who said on Saturday that they were considering sending in more agents to help Chicago fight the uptick in shootings.

At the end of the day, that may or may not help because Chicago’s problems are several and not simply just one or two. With Chicago you also have the issue with it’s cops, who have a history of being way out of line in terms of police misconduct.

You add that to a group of young men and women who already feel that they have no other options, that they are held down by the man, they have no jobs, they have no money…it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the what, why and how the violence has been on this upward tick.

The vow to send in Federal Agents to clean it up, well that is the band-aid and it’s not going to last in the long term, plain and simple.

While I find President Donald Trump’s idea of wanting to put an end to the violence in Chicago sincere and honest, I do not believe that he is going about it in the right way.

Because Chicago has always faced issues with increases and decreases in violence, to get her fixed and fixed for the long term, one would have to really sit down and understand the issues Chicago has had throughout it’s long and torrid history through today.

So what can the Fed’s do now?

Nothing really, because whatever they end up doing will only be on the surface and that’s if they can get anywhere near the violence, meaning put a dent in it.

At this juncture until we can get into Chicago and start fixing the root of the issues, we will continue to see this increase and decrease in crime for next decade and well beyond that.

But let’s give a huge round of applause to President Trump for managing to promise to do something about the violence, without bothering to have the wherewithal to understand why it’s happening.

Bravo, President Trump, Bravo.

Donald Trump and his Divided America

President Donald Trump Signs Executive Orders

President of the Divided States of America

This past week or more rather since the day President Donald Trump took office, I have received a few messages asking me why I am not all over the headlines?

President Donald Trump has thus far, kept his word in that what he promised he would do while he was on the campaign trail, he is actually doing.

What politician has ever really done that?

Aside from that, the reason to answer my readers who have written in about why I am not all over the headlines is that I am in dismay over it all.

I cannot truthfully say if I am more shocked that President Trump has managed to keep his word or that he is actually going through with what he promised while on the campaign trail.

Whenever I go through my social media I have to do a little mental prep work first because I see both sides of the coin, those that support President Trump and those that do not.

This nation was already deeply divided and that divide deepens as each day passes, some are delighted to see us taking these giant steps back in time instead of progress forward while others are hurting.

At the same time, it is very easy to condemn President Donald Trump because I am not in his shoes. The reality is that, he is simply making decisions the only way he knows how to, which is a matter of differing opinions between american citizens and President Trump.

Either way, I cannot recall his exact words but just shortly before former President Obama left office he left some parting words for his fellow Democrats with regards to them watching out for the american people.

Donald Trump regardless of his political party should also pay very close attention to those words.

It is “We the People,” not Donald Trump and his team turning the US Presidency into a complete joke.

The vast majority of the American People no longer tolerate hate, bigotry, sexism, shutting the door on other nations rather than work with them and rude, deplorable behavior no matter how it is dressed up, like in the case of Donald Trump becoming the 45th President of the United States.

The american people are learning rather quickly that we do in fact have a voice, a really, really loud voice and when used in the right way, Trump may be learning that indeed, even the exits at the White House are so very clearly marked.
