Wiretapping Trump’s Campaign Chairman

As each day passes it become more and more evident that Trump, his team and Russia all got together and made a plan so as to sway the 2016 US Presidential Election.
Of course each side had it’s own goal.
Russia wanted a president that it could better control while Trump, he just wanted to be king for a day and to turn the US Presidency into something that it was not, which he is learning is a much more difficult task than he thought it to be.
In the latest news, the US Government ordered that Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort be wiretapped under secret court orders both, before and after the election.
In fact, the US continued listening in this year, which included a period when dear old Paul was known to converse with Trump.
The US Government doesn’t just wake up one day and decide to wiretap someone without cause so it’s pretty clear that some had already suspected Russia, Trump and his team were at the ball dancing long before anyone cast a US vote.
It is rather interesting however as to what actually prompted the wiretapping in the first place.
A secret order authorized by the court that handles FISA began shortly after Paul became the subject of an FBI investigation that began in, 2014.
That investigation centered on work done by a group of Washington consulting firms for Ukraine’s former ruling party.
Trump really should have done his homework a little better when selecting some of his team…that is just simply my take on it.
At any rate, the original surveillance was discontinued at some point last year for lack of evidence, then the FBI restarted the surveillance after obtaining a new FISA warrant that extended at least into early this year.
And that second warrant was part of the FBI’s efforts to investigate ties between Trump campaign associates and suspected Russian operatives.
So as many of us had suspected and stated, James Comey at some point realized what was actually going on and so did his people.
At least 3 individuals close to the investigation have given the impression that Paul “encouraged” Russia assist with the Trump campaign. This has not been entirely confirmed yet however, I am sure it will eventually be confirmed as factual.
Robert Mueller’s team, which is leading the investigation into Russia’s involvement in the election, has been provided details of these communications.
Sources are also saying and forgive me but this is rather odd considering they had a wiretap, that The FBI wasn’t actually listening back in June of 2016, when Donald Trump Jr. led a meeting that included Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner, with a Russian lawyer who had promised negative information on Hillary Clinton.
So, it was selective listening? Really?
I find that highly doubtful…
The second surveillance was stopped when lawyers for Trump and Paul insisted that they stop.
Trump seems to have created a rather nice buffer between himself and his goons who actually did the bidding and worked with Russia.
Not the smartest of moves, because when you deal with human beings eventually, you run across one or two that are wise to the game and refuse to go down alone.
